Tomo raised a brow slightly at Shiro's obvious relief, had he really been that worried about Tomo's reaction? Well, Tomo herself knew she was a piece of work. She had always been mischievous, and along the years she had made herself rely on that part of herself. It made things easier, when you didn't take them seriously. But thanks to that, and her experiences, Tomo was now super bad at dealing with feelings. So she turned her gaze for a bit and stared at the wall.

Tomo groaned a bit at the thought that she would have to explain this shit to Tadashi. Shiro was right, Tadashi was a worrier, and that in turn made Tomo worry about him. It was a circle of "Are you alright?"s.
"Stir crazy is puttin' it mildly. I'm already crazy, sittin' here will make me catatonic."
Tomo said with extra whine in her voice and turned to curiously look what Shiro was digging out from his bag.

Tomo's smile mirrored Shiro's when he pulled the candy out and she was making grabby hands at it before he even threw it. Tomo grabbed the bag from the air and hugged it, purring in her chest.
"Thanks a bunch! I woulda seriously judged yer judgement if ya had brought flowers or balloons or some shit."
Tomo flashed her trademark grin and ripped the bag open, popping three candies into her mouth.

He'd chuckle just a bit at her grabbing the cabdy, "someone suggested flowers but I thought candy would be better," Tomo came off as unconventional but that wasn't a bad thing, he could tell she could be fun to hang around. "Just don't tell the nurse you got it from me, afraid they'll stop me from bringing you more treats."

Reaching out he'd quickly steal piece of candy and pop it into his mouth, "it took me forever to find your room, don't think I've ever been to a hospital before." He'd never needed too, his adopted mother would just heal any injury or sickness he had, "don't remember getting sick or hurt much."

Shiro would poke her shoulder, "you...you got a phone?" he'd ask, pulling out his cell phone. "I can give you my number, you can text me if you need anything, snacks or anything," he did want whatever this was to work, he wanted to try.
