Private Is It Okay To Meet A Person In The Woods?

"I feel that, if I did something illegal nowadays the monks would probably make a big deal of it and put my nose to the grindstone with training." He squirmed at the thought of them punishing him with training. It usually included things he hated doing. "I guess it's a good thing we both have caring parental figures. I know some kids here have it rough in that department and then get pushed into doing dumb stuff." He knew a few from personal experience.

Back when delinquency was his day to day agenda Vlad would usually find himself hanging in the wrong sorts of crowd and dancing with what could've been life-crippling events. The monks were the ones that kept him on the straight and narrow now. His face would somewhat drift into daydreaming wondering what might have been before blinking himself back to reality. "Though I do have to say I never would've expected the Yakuza to be a front for something more...considerate?"

Vlad was kinda enthralled in the info he was getting. His knowledge of the outside world was heavily restricted to what he was forced to learn in school or took the time to google on his phone when his mind fixated on a topic. "Wow, Goes to show I probably shouldn't just get all my info from media." He'd laugh a bit. " I think in all my years of life I've met a decent handful of actual Oni but I've never asked about their history at length."

He would pause for a second.

" Sometimes I find it strange how people have left such different lives to come here where I feel
things sort of melt together. I can only imagine any other everyday human outside vale casually meeting an alien and her talking and intelligent animal companions. Was your everyday life out there more normal than here?"

"That sounds pretty cool. I've never considered where I would go if I had the chance to visit the narrow. People make a big deal about Japan and France but I feel like there are some real hidden gems out there I've never heard of." He thought for a second before realizing the rise in the sound of the evening creatures. It was gonna be late before he knew it and he still had crap to do for school.

"Uhhh you feel like walking and talking the monastery isn't too far from here and I gotta drop off some stuff before I head back to the city." He'd point in the direction of the monastery before scooping up his duffle bag and throwing it over his shoulder.

Vlad nodded "Fair enough... I feel like I won't be getting much sleep tonight with all the work I have but ill make up for it during lunch or something." He'd adjust his bag before turning and giving a small look around him. "You and your friends take care getting home. The forest can be a bitch at night with all the tree roots sticking up." With a simple smile and wave, he'd begin his walk back to the temple keeping an eye out for his fellow monk members on the off chance this was a really elaborate prank.

When he was back in view of the monastery and the wandering monks he'd take a breath and go about the rest of his day wondering if it was really alright to just meet random people in the forest.
