1...2...3...NOW!
An explosion of sound bounced off of the walls of the dormitory halls as a young mime attempted to make her grand (and surprisingly loud, for who she was) entrance. Philomela had spent a great deal of time contemplating the perfect way to surprise her new roommate, the perfect way to engrave herself into her new bro-for-life's heart. She had decided that kicking the door in and throwing the stranger a lovely smile would be the best approach, and she wasted no time in executing it.
Practically jumping into the room, Mela's face contorted itself into a smile that seemed about ten times worse than the strange grin she always seemed to carry, if that was possible. That smile faded quickly, thankfully, as the pink girl realized that her room was empty. The corners of her lips turned down as she twisted her head this way and that, hoping that her roommate was just hiding somewhere to deliver the same sort of greeting she had.
To her disappointment, it seemed that she was really alone in the room. Plopping down on the bed nearest to her, Phime gave her right arm a good shake, sending a small roughly made doll tumbling out of her sleeve. The doll promptly stood and took a look around the room, seemingly trying to take in the situation as well. With a sigh, the mime girl fell back onto the bed and closed her eyes in defeat.
"...yes, that would be your room right there. The one with the open door... it seems that your roommate has beat you to it!"
Philomela's eyes snapped open upon hearing a voice in the hall direct someone to her room. Grin returning to her face, she swiftly jumped into a crouch on the ground before sliding under the bed. Heheheh... this could be way better than what I was gonna do before... Man, they're gonna love it! Swiping a hand out quickly to grab her doll, which was still wandering around the edge of the bed, Philomela held her breath and waited eagerly to meet her new bro-for-life.
