"Yes I think," he'd say with a snort, "I just....heard a rumor...followed it, thinking it might be connected to all the craziness that was happening." He'd scratch at his cheek. "I always gotta be doing something Chris...if I'm not then....I go a bit nuts, with what was happening I just couldn't sit still."

"Oh playing though are we?" he'd ask as she said she didn't get embarrassed. "I bet you'd be blushing like hell," he'd snort. "Yeah, you're definitely attractive, but you'd be just as fortunate," he'd say with a smirk, "muscled dragon with multiple elements, you'd be lucky."

Sitting up he'd reach for a cup of water, flinching as he had to stretch to reach it. "But yeah....they'd probably tease and then show you the photo to try and embarrass me more."

Oof. She could empathize with that. Not the rumor thing - she was strictly a fuck-everyone-else-i'll-do-my-own-thing kind of girl - but the moving thing. Always moving too fast for anything to catch up...

She was about to say something, but thought better of it. What would she even say? "Wow, dude, I sympathize with that. Feel free to use that info against me, by the way. Hey, why not tell you my life story, too?" She shut her mouth.

And then promptly opened it back up to snort at Eein. "You're playing, man. I don't feel embarrassment. I'm not kidding. Once, I tripped when I was little and fractured my horn because I was chasing a butterfly. I regret nothing." Stupid move, but hey. She was careful to not mention anything about the last five years. Ohhhh, but the nerve of this fucking guy. "Oh yeah? Strong faun with the power to literally bend the plants to her will? Loaded with anything you want? You'd be even luckier. If, of course, we were actually dating. Sorry buddy, but I don't do commitment. Sucks to be you." Stuck out her tongue, hands on her hips and ready to fire back. Despite her words, she was smiling. Which faltered as he flinched. "Again, sucks to be you."

"Commitement is weird....relationships are weird...," he finally got the cup and leaned back with a groan. "Emotions...all that shit, confusing as hell," he'd chug the water, "fights and just...running around, that makes more sense to me."

He'd toss the cup, missing the trashcan, the cup bouncing off the floor. "Though I can't do a lot of that either," he'd say with a snort. "Y'know...you're one of the only people my age who I've hung out with a lot, I think some of the other students find me intimidating...or weird...or both."

The dragon would squirm a bit. "Seriously though, thanks for coming, thanks for the juice," he'd smile a tiny bit, "I owe you."
