The two of them were nowhere near as graceful or sneaky as they usually were, and when Cheeto was taken into consideration that was a terrifying thought. The two girls-turned-boys wore clothes of Cheeto's, they didn't fit as well on their masculine frames, black pants that were too tight and shirts with low V-cuts. While Cheeto's hair was still a mess that hung in his eyes, Dorito's usual haircut had become something of an unkempt, boy-band looking thing.
"Sis-I mean... Bro, you sure about this?"
Cheeto's voice was a much lower rasp, almost rock-on-rock opposed to flowing sand. He stuck close to Dorito as the two of them moved down the hallway of the dormitory, seeking out someone Dorito was sure would be able to assist them.
"August'll help us. He's kinda funny but he's been good to me before."
Dorito, on the other hand, still had a squeak in his voice, though it was deeper as well, something like a clarinet. They tried to sneak as best they could but their unfamiliar bodies kept brushing into things or bumping into each other whenever they moved. They were so out of sink it was making their readily apparent discomfort all the worst. Dorito rounded a corner, pulling Cheeto along by the hand as they went. They drew closer and closer to their destination as Cheeto once more protested.
"He's the guy from the woods and I dunno how 'good' to you he'll be now that you're packin' heat!"
"Will you shush up already?! This is his room!"
Dorito hastily knocked repeatedly before trying the knob, trying to get himself in his brother into the room as quickly as possible.
