He'd smile when he saw her reaction to the honey. "It is huh?" he'd chuckle, "nothing quite like fresh honey, definitely better than the stuff most buy in the stores." Already it felt like the stings had been worth it, making her happy, plus all the tasty treats they were about to make.

The dragon would continue to prep for the cookies, listening as she talked about her book. "Yeah, it can be hard to get into a book if it doesn't hook you early on." He probably didn't read quite as much as her, but he still read quite a bit, especially if magic was involved.

Eein would blink in surprise as the flour hit him, glancing down at his shirt. He'd laugh a bit, and brush some flour out of his hair. "Its ok," he'd say with a chuckle and gesturing to a roll of paper towels on the counter. "A little flour never hurt anyone."

The reason why Charlie had begun to write book reviews in the first place was because she didn't have anyone to talk about books with. The people around her either didn't want to talk to Charlie or had other interests. Which was why Charlie was unusually surprised and happy about the fact that Eein actually listened to her, and commented on the topic. That made Charlie smile bit wider, as she spoke, although the smile died quickly as she done goofed and got Eein covered in flour.

Eein laughed and said it was okay, but Charlie still felt really bad, and when Eein pointed out the very obvious paper towels on the counter she also felt embarrassed.
"B-but i-it's ev-everywhere...o-on the fl-floor t-too..."
Charlie said, feeling increasingly miserable, as she grabbed few paper towels, dampened them under the tap and began gently wiping away the flour. Charlie hadn't noticed, but she also had some flour on her own arm plus on her bangs and right cheek.

He'd look down at her in mild surprise when she started to clean the flour off of him. "Its ok," he'd chuckle, "you should see the messes I made when I first learned how to cook." The young dragon would tilt his head, "nothing can compare to the messes tiny dragons make."

Reaching out he'd gently wipe a bit of flour from her hair. "Getting flour out of scales is a lot hard than hair," he'd smile a little playfully, "especially when the dragons is squirming and just wants to go run outside."

Eein would look at her a moment. "Y'know....you're about as sweet as the honey."
