Personality:

• Caring - In contrast to his dominating and aggressive husband, Henghai was made to be a father and stay-at-home husband, despite running a business as well. He love nursing people, taking care of them, and despite knowing this is selfish, he loves it when people feel they have to rely on him for help. He can't help but just feel a warm sensation in his chest when someone goes to him first because he the most trustworthy person, even with all his flaws.
  
  
• Flirty - Flirting is one of Henghai's favorite hobbies. His sexuality has often been confused for bisexual or pansexual because he flirts with everyone no matter their gender identity and sex. It doesn't help that he'll sometimes lure people in and tease them, then suddenly reveal that he's in a committed marriage and has a son.
  
  
• Flippant - Henghai loves his jokes, even if in horrible taste or structure. He'll go for light comedy to black comedy in a matter of seconds, and he considers it a win when people cringe while trying to hold back a giggle at his jokes for being so bad but good. His favorite targets to annoy are Archard and Anrong, but when it comes to strangers his jokes are usually more tame to avoid seriously hurting someone. It's obvious when Henghai is comfortable about someone, because he wouldn't make dead baby jokes around someone he's not comfortable with. This doesn't mean people respond with the same level of comfort though.
  
  
• Immature - With his flirty and flippant personality often comes with Henghai being very childish in nature. While he can switch into a caring and protective father when necessary, he can come off as an embarrassing dad or husband by giving out too much personal information about his family.

Henghai was born in China after his two parents went down there to explore and meet up with relatives that chose to live there than the safe haven of the island. Hengahi's parents found themselves lost though, and soon after his mother soon went into labor. When two humans saw the couple with their new child they screamed and tried to call for help to take down the "two monsters with a baby". The couple tried to camouflage themselves, but with their baby crying and not being able to control his shape-shifting their attempts were useless. Instead, the wife was lifted onto the back of her husband in his cervitaur form, and the baby was held in the arms of the dad while they were flown up back to the island quickly away from the "witch hunt" for them.

After that their family refused to go back down to any place with humans, and Henghai was taught strictly in how to defend himself from harm, as well as the art of healing. After a few years of just camouflaging and practicing his powers he met Anrong when he was in his twenties. Anrong was also from China and lived there for quite some time, though his family focused more on hunting and living in the woods than just being "weak" and camouflaging for safety, as Anrong put it. At first Henghai was offended at being called weak for wanting to heal and camouflage more than just hunt animals, as well as staying safe from the humans, but Anrong soon explained he worked for the oricenta government to spy on humans and collect information on their technology and cultures. Anrong also showed himself to not be so bad, and was even kind and sweet in a a way, though he often tried to hide it under a rude and bratty personality. The two learned more about each other, and while Henghai taught Anrong how to appreciate camouflage and healing, Anrong taught Henghai the how to hunt, something most other oricenta were at least moderately skilled in at his age.

Eventually Henghai was introduced to Anrong's close friend, Archard Soie, the Royal Oricenta. He nearly had a heart attack, but he supposed he should've been prepared considering Anrong's job was so close to private government information. Henghai and Archard hit it off easily though, and he also found himself liking Béatrice, Ade, and... not so much Ade's husband. To put it simply, he was sort of a "dick" to Henghai and was too strict for his liking. That didn't last too long though, and eventually Ade and her husband had a divorce and she went for her best friend Béatrice, and Henghai would be lying if he said he wasn't happy about what happened. Béatrice was a total bitch at times when she wasn't being apathetic or fake with her emotions, but at least she showed Ade genuine love and care.

After many years of doing the same job repeatedly, Anrong and Henghai got bored of working for Archard's government and decided to settle down as the Royal Gardeners, get married, find a nice little place to live, and have a child. It was only after the marriage part that Archard told them about the Manta Carlos islands and how they planned on sending their family there to observe the culture. Anrong's spark lit up again and he immediately accepted the deal, then dragged Henghai off to live there.

Once they arrived the Meis got themselves a comfortable home and opened up a plant shop in Manta Carlos City. They picked employees by having Anrong grow plants and Henghai ordering them to follow his commands. After a few years of living in the city and getting themselves settled down they eventually had a son, who they named Junchi, and after him, a few years later the Afolabi-Soies had their own child. This only helped bond the two families more, since Junchi and Arjean got along very well and their relationship gave the two families more of a reason to interact and enjoy each others' company.

Powers:

• Plant Control - Henghai is able to give any type of plant "life". By "life," the plant lacks true sentience and understanding of its actions. When given a command by Henghai they're able to form a humanoid body to complete their task, and once their task is completed they go back to just being a normal plant. Henghai likes to use them to help around in his shop and just in his daily life, but if he does have his limits.​
  
  If he issues too many commands to the plant—especially complex ones—it'll only do a few of those commands or the most simple ones. Commands such as "Get me some water from the kitchen," it can do, but something like "Go to the store down the street and buy me eggs," will cause it to return back to it's previous form or alternatively, go to the store and then return back to its previous form. If he tries to give commands to large plants or many plants all at once he'll find himself tired with a headache. If there are too many plants following his commands some will return back to their previous form, which Henghai sees as an attempt for his body to avoid a headache.

Species Abilities:

• Owl, Deer, and Cervitaur Shape-Shifting - Henghai can turn into an owl, deer, and cervitaur. In his owl form he has green feathers with a yellow tint to it that look similar to leaves, a yellow beak, and green eyes. He can summon his tusks in this form, but he thinks it feels awkward having tusks come out of his beak. In his deer form he has green fur, a yellow nose, green eyes, tusks, and yellow hooves. He can summon his wings in this form, but flying in his deer form just feels weird. In his cervitaur form his lower torso is replaced with his deer form and his wings are moved from his back to the back of his deer body.
  
  
• Sexual Characteristics Changing - Pretty self explanatory. Despite oricenta being incapable of breeding with any species outside of their own, they are able to change their sexual characteristics. Henghai has only used this ability to have Junchi so far, since the closest he's ever gotten to having children previously was with his plants. He's perfectly fine being male though.
  
  
• Healing - Henghai prides himself on his healing ability. While it isn't strong enough to completely regenerate body parts, he is able to heal deep wounds. He usually likes to use this ability to assist him in healing without the use of powers, since, despite his skill in healing, he finds himself getting quickly tired and will eventually pass out.
  
  
• Longevity- All oricenta will stop aging at 24-years-old, the year they hit their prime, and continue to live forever, but they are still capable of being harmed and killed. They are still vulnerable to sicknesses, wounds, and whatever their weakness is depending on their oricenta type. Their best bet against those things are to be healed by either themselves or others. They cannot resurrect themselves from the dead, and even just trying to resurrect them is hard because their bodies turn into whatever oricenta type they represent. When Henghai dies his body will turn into a tree about his size.

Skills:

• Healing - Henghai was raised to value protecting others and healing them, and because of this he focused most of his skills into healing, even without the use of his powers. Since healing with his powers always made him feel extremely woozy and dizzy when healing deep wounds for a long time or for multiple people, he decided that it would be best to just know healing without powers. When he's bored, he liked to go out and volunteer with helping hurt people or animals.
  
  
• Camouflage - With his appearance Henghai is capable of blending into trees and leaves quite easily, but he finds it easier when he's in his owl form. The downside is that whenever he moves or the leaves move he's easier to spot. He also can't really change the fact that he can't smell like leaves and nature all the time.

Weaknesses:

• Sensory Over-Stimulation - Even though Henghai likes to go hunting with Anrong at times, he finds himself more sensitive to sounds and smells than others in his species. He has solved this problem somewhat by putting in ear plugs to dim the sounds, but there's not much he can do for his smell unless he covers his nose constantly. When he's experiencing an overload in sounds and smells he'll end up getting dizzy and will hear ringing in his ears for a while, drowning out all other sounds.
  
  
• Exhaustion - If Henghai tries to control really large plants or a large amount of plants he'll end up giving himself a headache and needing to rest. Because of this, he tries to just limit himself to one or two small trees or many flowers, since those don't give him an immediate headache (until he uses his powers for a long time). Eventually he knows that he has to let the plants go off on their own though, but sometimes he likes to allow them to help around in his shop or play with Junchi until they find another place to go.
  
  He also gets easily dizzy when healing multiple people without taking breaks, healing for a long time, or healing deep wounds (which takes longer than small wounds).
  
  
• Flight - Henghai is pretty sure that he's the reason Junchi thinks that a good oricenta hunter doesn't need to fly, because Henghai has little skills in flying. He's able to get to high places and hide in trees, but if you asked him to soar through the skies for more than an hour or fly high up he'll end up getting extremely tired and will take long breaks. Sometimes he tries to play this off as him as just losing his touch or it's because he's an earth oricenta, but it's obvious that he's just not a good flier. Though, he does have somewhat of a good point with his earth oricenta excuse, since they are naturally more heavy than other oricenta, especially air oricenta.
  
  Physical Strength - While Henghai is quite proud that his body allows him to camouflage into plants and trees easily, access small places sometimes, and lets him move in a more flexible and agile manner, he is aware that he puts so much focus on being agile and quick that he ends up being weak physically. Even punched from a fighter with little training can cause him serious damage, and if he finds himself trying to fight someone who's stronger than him and as fast as him he tries to flee as quickly as possible. The only things that keep him in any battle is his ability to camouflage, move quickly, and be a small target.
