Name: Heck
Age: 34
Birthday: June 11th
Gender: Male
Species: Gunzoa (magical entity, undead, alien, humanoid)
Category: Citizen
Career: Ammomancer, Bullet Merchant and Gun salesman
Appearance Description:
Heck has a large revolver as his head his mouth lacks any lips. He has no hair at all and his body has rigormortis causing his skin to appear pale grey and feels unnaturally stiff. His fingers and toes end in metal claws. He has a muscular build. He commonly wears leather pants and boots. He lacks a shirt, instead wearing ammo belts that cross in an X pattern over his torso and drape down in belts, one down his front and four down his back. He currently stands 7 feet tall.
Personality Description: Heck is a man of few words, and much action, after all, words are a second language to the gun. He speaks in turse, quick and short sentences, he can sometimes forget to use his indoor voice however. He tends to find straightforward solutions to problems, often involving bullets. Heck is dedicated to teaching the benefits of guns to all who will listen. He hopes to one day create the ultimate gun.
Powers:
Ammomancy: Heck is an Ammomancer, one who can control bullets using magic. Using Ammomancy Hecks can control any and all bullets within 100 feet (this includes anything that can be considered a bullet, a solid projectile launched using a chemical explosion to propel the projectile. Arrows, lasers, and magic that doesn't take the form of bullets, cannot be controlled by him.) When using these powers, Heck uses his Ammonomicon, a book containing ammo spells for him to use.
Blank Banishment: Using this spell causes all bullets within 100 feet to dissapear. All guns will now be empty, and bullets that have been fired will dissapear mid-air. Characters with tangibly infinite sources of ammo can circumvent this depending on how their power works. If their weapon simply never runs out of ammo then Heck's power has no effect on it. If they merely have a source of infinite ammo but still need to reload their weapon, this spell forces them to reload regardless of how much ammo they had. Characters with only theoretical infinite ammo for gameplay purposes will still lose all of their ammo (essentially, "I have bullets as the plot demands"). To cast this spell, Heck draws power from the book to summon a magical blank bullet. He then raises the bullet into the air and fires it causing a sphere of energy to rapidly expand outwards, banishing all bullets in the radius to bullet hell (yes bullet hell, it's exactly what it sounds like).
Misfire Hex: This spell causes bullets to fire when they shouldn't. Heck can cause bullets to fire while inside their magazines, or force guns to go off without the trigger being pulled. Heck must have line of sight to use this ability.
Curse of the Jammed: This spell, when used on a gun, causes the next bullet fired to jam the weapon, forcing the wielder to spend time unjamming their weapon.
Discharge Dodge: This spell fires Heck like a bullet 5 feet in any direction. He can use this to quickly dodge out of the way of incoming threats, though this is hampered somewhat by his reaction times. He can do this once every 5 minutes.
Healing Barrage: Heck summons a number of bullets that hover around him, before pointing towards him and firing off all at once to heal all of his current wounds. A severed head can only be healed this way if it is in contact with his neck. Heck can only use this spell once every 15 minutes and must be uninterrupted during the casting time.
The Dakka Mantra: Heck is capable of using his Ammomancy offensively as well. Heck can conjure bullets to use against his enemies and does not require a gun to fire them. When using these offensive spells he can use one spell per hand every 30 seconds, unless a spell requires both.
Akimbo's Wrath: This spell involves Heck conjuring up to two 9mm bullets to fire (four if both hands are used).
The Shot of Legion: Heck summons a shotgun shell to fire at enemies (two if using both hands).
Way of the One Shot Over All: Heck charges up power to summon a single .50 caliber bullet to fire at a target (two if using both hands).
Gatlings Gaze: Heck uses both hands to fire a barrage of bullets at a target (he cannot use another spell with it).
Headshot: Heck uses his head gun to fire a large heavy caliber bullet at an opponent. Heck can guide this bullet through the air to a degree once he fires it. Heck's head gun holds six bullets and he can fire one every two minutes before he must reload using his ammonomicon.
Species Abilities:
-Gunzoans are never at any point in their lives "alive" (similar to how guns themselves are never alive). They do not bleed, do not require food, water or even air. Although, for whatever reason, they do still require sleep. They are also not affected by temperature extremes.
-While they start off rather small and feeble, Gunzoans grow in both size and strength as they age. Heck himself has reached super-human strength, capable of lifting several hundred pounds.
-Since Gunzoans are not technically alive, they can survive grevious wounds without dying, they can even survive being beheaded. The only way to kill a Gunzoan is to crush, cut or otherwise destroy the head gun.
-Gunzoans like Heck are immune to any and all conventional bullets (With the exception of those fired by Gunzoan head guns). In fact, bullets actually seem to heal Gunzoans instead, with each bullet healing a wound instead of causing one. However, each bullet only heals the amount of damage it would realistically cause, with particularly large wounds requiring either a large caliber round or a lot of smaller caliber bullets to heal.
-Gunzoans are resistant to explosives and fire, recieving less damage from them than most people would. Explosives cause bruising to varying degrees depending on the power behind the explosion, while fire will usually only cause painful but not severe burns unless super heated. Gunzoans can and will actually eat explosives and flammables as delicacies, their stomachs capable of neutralizing their dangerous aspects.
-All Gunzoans are otherwise vulnerable to magical attacks, arrows, lasers, swords and other melee weapons. Swords in particular, while not causing any more grevious wounds than normal, seem to be particularly revolting to Gunzoans, who see them as backwards, taboo, and all together wrong. As a result, Gunzoans are very disturbed by the presence of swords.
-Gunzoans, just like guns, are rather loud creatures. Living on a world perpetually punctuated by explosions and gunfire, as well as seeking to emulate the gun and bullet, has left Gunzoans lacking in the subtlety department. Not only do they lack an indoor voice, but they lack the common sense to avoid making unnecessary noise when possible. As a result, one will likely hear a Gunzoan long before they see it.
-The sheer amount of noise Gunzoans listen to on their world has dampened their sense of hearing, making them less capable of picking up quieter sounds, and therefore making them easier to sneak up on.
-While Gunzoans are actually fairly intelligent people, their speech patterns and mannerisms can make them come across to others as simpletons. Like a gun's loud but brief report, Gunzoan speech tends to be short, loud, and usually lacking in finer details. As a result, they can come across as brash and stupid and can have trouble in elaborating ideas towards other non-Gunzoans. Their brawny physical appearance and gun obsession may further compound this for some, not to mention the occassional "actually stupid" Gunzoan. Whether this is a pro or a con is heavily dependant on the situation.
Biography: Heck was born on the planet Gunymede, a world where the mountains are made of brass, the deserts filled with gunpowder, the air filled with phosphorus, and the seas flowing with petroleum. Here the people live by the gun and the bullet. When his parents died later in his life, it was up to Heck and his silenced twin brother Krok to look after their younger sister Dree. To help provide, the two brothers took up the schools of magic to provide income, with Heck learning Ammomancy while Krok learned Gunjuration. One of Hecks greatest dreams in life, is to create the greatest gun in existence, to achieve the impossible. Create a gun that fires every bullet that ever was, is, or will be. But to do so now, would be to rise above his station in Gunzoan society, and that is looked down upon. So, to avoid rejection, and to search for a means to make his dream come true, he learns through alien visitors of an island on a far away planet where he could research in peace.
Additional Information: Heck owns a shotdog (shotgun+dog) from his homeworld that he keeps in his home as security from intruders. He owns a gun and ammo store called The Dakka Department.
