A house without a family, where you couldn't be cold, and where it's cool if you take dead stuff.
Riley - the god one, not the former zombie one or the dog one or the alien one or the mime one or any of the other ones - had agonized over her first clue. But eventually, she was sure of it. It had to be a greenhouse.
...There was a greenhouse on campus, right? There had to be one, with all those nerds who learned subjects like botany. And as she thought about it more, it made even more sense. Every day being celebrated - didn't certain flowers open and close daily, or something like that? She was pretty sure one of her teachers mentioned that.
So Riley spent some of her time looking for a greenhouse on campus - and if she did, she'd ask someone to let her take part of a dead plant for a scavenger hunt. Assuming she couldn't just waltz in and grab it.
If she got this point, she would consider apologizing to that teacher for the time she filled some of her desk drawers with planting soil.
