Personality Description: A paragraph is all you need. If you would rather not write a paragraph, you can do bullet points of major personality traits. Positive and negative aspects.

Powers:

Eldritch Magic

Biologically being of Eldritch origin, Lillian has magic connected to it. As of time of application, Lillian only has one power coming from that source, but she can potentially get more if she exposed herself to more Eldritch activities and practices.

Insanity and Sickness Inducing Touch – Lillian has skin contact-based powers that eat away at people’s sanity and health. This is not an instantaneous effect, and would hardly be noticed right away. People can casually touch Lillian like poke her or kiss her head, but continuously touching her for minutes and hours at a time would seriously start to hurt a person. One minute in, they will start to get dizzy. Ten minutes, thinking will start to become difficult, and they will experience minor memory loss, as well as greatly reduced immune system. By an hour, using proper cognitive functions will become extremely difficult and the other person will start to pale and emulate symptoms of a cold. Two hours, they won’t know who they are anymore and experience great bodily pains. Three, they’ll be dead. Twelve, she will cancel out someone’s immortality/invisibility, no matter how hard the magic, and murder even the most powerful immortals. The effects move faster for weak, sickly people, and slower for physically fit people.

As powerful as this magic is, she needs to have continual skin contact with the person. Breaking skin contact would restart the stream of magic flowing to another person. It won’t pick back where it left off. For example, she’s an hour in touching someone, but she suddenly lets go and touches them again. She would need to touch a person for another two hours to get the two hour effects. Walking away from her and taking a breather would help them shake off the effects of her magic, and they often need the exact time she touched them to fully recover. People can’t build resistance to her, and touching her everyday would give them permanent mental damage even when they keep their distance. Fortunately, therapy, proper medication, and healthy lifestyle can help them shake off the effects.

Her power is much less kinder to animals and plants. She can rot small plants and suffocate a small animal in a matter of seconds, and a tree and a large animal in an hour. Most animals are terrified to come near her because she smells like death. Lillian despises this power, and avoids physical contact with people due to it.

Species Abilities:

Eldritch Sea Serpent

Because Lillian’s mother had a child with a human, Lillian is able to take a human form, but her human form is flimsy at best. Anyone who is sensitive to auras and illusions would be able to see that Lillian’s human form is cracking at the edges and barely holding on. She does not smell like human. People will always recognize her as a sea creature/eldritch.

Lillian’s true form is a giant sea serpent. And by giant, I mean humongous. Lillian’s serpent form is eight stories tall and five kilometers wide. It has a giant maw with several rows of sharp teeth. It can swim into the darkest, deepest and pressurized parts of the ocean with relative ease. Additionally, it can also move with ease in space. It doesn’t really need to breathe.

In order to transform into the serpent, Lillian must be completely submerged in water/space. The sensation is equivalent to drowning and is extremely painful, because the form will break open her human form forcefully. She must have enough water/space in order to fully transform, meaning she can’t transform in pools and bathtubs, or things like that.

Invincibility and Prolonged Life – Being eldritch and a sea serpent, Lillian is effectively invincible and her life, while not necessarily immortal, is pretty prolonged. However, she can still get sick and be weakened by light and holy magic.

Biography:

Once upon a time, a giant sea serpent washed ashore the Manta Carlos beaches. It was dying, forced into land by the raging seas, and it couldn’t get back to the water. A man named Jonathan Primrose, a resident bleeding heart, took care of the monster, feeding it, and keeping it alive. Jonathan kept the monster alive for a week, and when the seventh day hit, he returned to the beach to find that the serpent had transformed into a beautiful woman. Jonathan took her home, and the two were promptly wed.

Jonathan Primrose was the son of a local mogul. He had extravagant luxuries, and shared them all with his beautiful wife. His parents didn’t approve of the marriage. They wanted her to marry a local politician’s daughter, a dreadful and cantankerous woman. But the woman seemed to make their son happy, and he worked twice as hard to keep his lovely wife. They had a child, whom they named Lillian, and loved her more than they loved the world itself. The three of them were happy until Lillian’s mother passed away when she was four. Sea creatures were not meant to live on land, and her mother ultimately paid for it. It brought Lillian some comfort that her mother died with a smile and no regrets.

Her mother’s death changed her father. He became reclusive, and depended on Lillian for his happiness. Lillian was more than happy to help ease her father’s suffering. After all, she felt the same. He told her to never, ever step foot in the ocean, because he feared that his child would fall in love with it and suffer the same fate as her mother.

A few years later, he accepted his parents’ original proposal and married the politician’s daughter. It was a terrible scam. The politician’s money ran out and his business was destroyed. Lillian’s now stepmother and stepsisters invaded their estate. Her father avoided them like the plague, going into Lillian’s room to sleep next to her and spending all his free time with her. Eventually, her magic caught up with him, and he passed away.

With no father and no knowledge of the world around her, Lillian’s stepmother seized ownership of Lillian’s money and house. She didn’t know what to do with Lillian, so she dressed her up in a uniform and turned her into a maid. Lillian’s lovely bedroom was overtaken by one of her step sisters, and she was banished to sleep at the kitchen, in a cot with the dog. Lillian’s daily life became serving her new family. She ate their crumbs. She made clothes of the things they threw away. She cried for years until she ran out of tears, and finally accepted this was her lot in life. She couldn’t escape it. She tried to find happiness in the little things, with the dog, the cat, and the chickens. She sneaked off to the family library and amused herself with stories. She learned to enjoy dance and song. Lillian promised herself that was the last time she was going to cry.

Lillian was fourteen when her grandparents decided to check up on her. They dressed her up in her sister’s nice clothes to hide the abuse, and made her swear she wouldn’t tell them a word of what they did. Of course, during the dinner, Lillian blurted out that she wasn’t going to school. Her grandparents were outraged. Her stepmother beat her in private, but she was thrilled she could finally go to school.
