Ava took into account that Baste would probably get sleepy again if she got cold, otherwise she wouldn't have offered her a lift. She would make sure she was a temperature warm enough to keep Baste toasty but not too hot to burn.

"You got it, edge of the forest. I'll drop you off real quick. Sauron, home!"
Ava said the last words to Sauron, who then barked and darted running into the direction they had entered the opening from. Ava grinned at Baste while she rolled up her pants and sleeves and partial shifted her whole body, making her muscles bigger and claws appear on her feet and hands, along with lava skin here and there. And naturally wings, and even on them the thin skin between the bones was thinly covered in lava.
"He's a smart boy, he will find his way home from any part of the forest. Okay, let's go."
Ava would circle behind Baste and take a firm hold of her from under her arms. And with that Ava would flap her wings strongly few times and lift off, flying to the direction Baste would say her bike was in.

Basté would be sure to hold onto Ava at all times, letting the warmth protect her from the chilling winds, and surely wouldn't be long until they were by the road that borders the forest. "Right here, there's my bike.", and what a bike it was at that... It would be hard to imagine a 16yo was allowed to ride one of those, but she had it resolved in Japan, where she acquired her license.

Once they landed, Basté shook hands with Ava and said "Thank you for making my night so enjoyable. Maybe one day we could brave the road together by daytime, when the sun is bright and warm.", while putting on her helmet.

When Baste had said "bike" Ava had imagined a bicycle or something. But when she saw this beast of an actual bike bike, with a motor and everything, Ava couldn't help but stare and openly show her amazement. She didn't know shit about bikes, but this one looked like it could go fast. Ava liked fast. She swiftly shook hands with Baste and then stared at her.

"You got to let me ride with you for a bit. Just to town. I've always wanted to be on one of these things. I don't need a helmet or anything, you need a lot more than falling off of this to kill me. I'll even say please."

"Oh, never rode one before?", Basté was suprised, she was even about to let Ava borrow her helmet, before the lava dragoness stated there being no need for her to wear one. "Hm, true, unlike me you have a full impact protection. Even with my wind armor I still need to be careful.", and mounting the bike she gestured her friend to mount behind her, "Hold tightly to me. We won't be able to speed at this hour, though, but my Machine Tornador is mechanical beast!"

Apparently there was no need to say please, Baste promised to let Ava ride with her just like that. Ava had the biggest grin when she nodded and hopped on without any hesitation when Baste gestured for Ava to take a seat.

"Beast, huh? I bet I would win in a fight."
Ava joked and snickered, and wrapped her arms around Baste's torso from behind. She kept her upper body's front side shifted, to give Baste some extra warmth. She was so hyped for this!
"Onward! Let the Tornador roar!"
Ava said flamboyantly and raised her fist to the air. Though Baste probably couldn't see it.

With a brief snicker at her joke, the engine has been ignited and roared. They weren't moving yet, but Basté warned: "We are about to suddenly go REALLY fast." That was no lie. It wasn't long until they were speeding through the road. At first they were clearly going above the limit, but she was quick to rectify that issue. The view of the forest on a side, and the ocean on another, wouldn't last long... But was still gorgeous while it lasted.
