It was her first time in the library since Professor Aurora had taken her on a tour around the school. While they had gone over things quickly, and briefly, Lulu wanted to take a more in depth look. Especially now that she finally had the school ID card, that doubled as a library card. That, and it was an excuse to get away from her angsty roommate. While he was still moaning and groaning and in pain, she'd rather be far far away, where he wouldn't yell at her for existing. Lulu was honestly amazed he hadn't gone to a teacher to ask for a new roommate already.
Still, she was determined to stubborn through it, and it would be much easier if she had books to escape into on hand. Since Lulu had traveled on her own, she only brought a few books with her, and heck, didn't own that many beyond that anyways. It was much better to borrow from this extensive place.
Lulu waved to the librarian at the desk as she entered, a cheery smile on her face. First she headed to the fiction section, before stopping. She essentially lived a world of fiction now, didn't she? Wouldn't it be better, then, for her to learn what little she could about the fantasy that had encroached on her reality? The professor had said most of that type of knowledge was kept secret, for personal use of folks of that being. Knowledge is power, and such. But there had to be something? True histories that explained the weird holes in the normal human consciousness? Like JFK's murder? Or Stone Henge? Or ghost sightings and possession?
With that in mind, she headed upstairs. The fourth floor was for the artifacts...would there be books on them up there? Or would it be under history? Maybe she should ask someone? Lulu hesitated on the stairs, biting her lip. She just wasn't sure.
