Myth was slowly making his way toward the glistening lake below. He needed to get away from everyone, so he had decided that a quick flight and swim were just the ticket. That was why he was walking across the lawn wearing sandals, his swim trunks, and a loose black T-shirt. Finally reaching the lake, he laid down his towl, kicked off his sandals, and pulled off his shirt. Standing there in only his swim trunks, his back sseemed to grow tense, his muscles were rippling under his skin, and then it happened. Two large falcon like wings seemed to slowly burst from his back at the shoulders.

As he shrugged his shoulders to loosen them up. Spreading his wings to the side, Myth took a quick run toward the lake, and just before he reached the water's edge he jumped out over the lake, a powerful down stroke from his wings and he was quickly gaining altitude. Myth flew a quick circle around the lake, before heading out to the center of it. AS Myth reached the center, he began to fly straight up and then with a small whoop of delight, he spread his wings and stopped flying. Myth seemed to just hover there in air for a sec., but then gravity kicked in.

Myth seemed to fall backwards, pulled his wings in tight, and was quickly diving head first toward the lake below. As Myth got to the halfway point of his dive, he began to shift once more drawing his wings in, until they were no longer there. Myth prepared to do a dive so that he could easily slip into the water, but just as he was about to hit the water, his hands burst into flames. The fires did not burn him, but they did give him a shock throwing off his dive so that he hit the water on his back, hard. As Myth hit the water amidst the splash, rose a plume of steam as the firese were extinguished. The force of Myth's failed dive, sent him plummeting until he hit the sandy bottom. Myth put his feet under him and kicked off, the quickly rising to the surface. As his head breached the surface, he let out a gasp for air, and floated on his back as he caught his breath.

"Man did that hurt, why did my hands go off like that."

"Don't have full control of your powers yet do you?" A voice said "heh, I was the same." the water rippled as Myth saw something below the surface. It stretched fifty feet in length and had massive fins that sprouted out of its back. Details were not visible, as it was completely submerged.

"Sparky, stop freaking him out." the voice said again. The serpent like creature disappeared as it dove deeper into the waters depths. The voice belonged to a young girl, treading water not far away. The serpent appeared again, erupting from the lake, its silver jaw held open wide, revealing sword-like teeth. The large fins were giant steel wings, stretching out and up high, shadowing the sun from the girls face. Two muscular metal arms and claws were held close by the girls head, ready to attack at any moment. One feature stood out from everything else about this creature, it was intirely made of metal. "Besides, you are a dragon, not a sea serpent!" The metal dragons angered appearence morphed to one of disappointment, its attempt to be frightening failed. "Oh, don't be sad Sparky, you would be scary to anyone else but me..." The creature nudged her gently with its giant muzzle, and grinned happily.

"What the...!" Myth saw the giant metal thing sprouting behind the girl, and lost his balance... sinking below the water as water ran up his nose. Surfacing he blew it out,"Man that stung..Who do you think you are suprising me like that... I came out here to be alone. Myth did a couple backstrokes to get some distance, and turned to face the girl. "Names Myth, no that it matters, and you have no idea what my powers are like, so do yourself a favor and keep your distance." Turning his back on the girl he began to swim back toward the shore.

"Well..." the girl looked up at Sparky, who lowered his head out of respect. She quickly pulled her self onto him and grasped his back. Sparky slowly began slithering towards myth, and quickly caught up. "I came out here alone too, well ofcourse Sparky was with me. This dragon has a mind of his own, and if he really wants to do something, sometimes I just can't talk him out of it." She glanced over her left side, Myth was still swimming. "My name is Moonlight, it is nice to meet someone new." She paused again to pet Sparky. "Apperantly you can fly, with eagle wings and have contorl over the element of fire. Would you like to know what my powers are?"

"Fine...If it makes you happy, and as far as I can tell the wings are more like those of a falcon then an eagle."

Myth continued to swim as he spoke.

"Details... not huge on them," she began. "I have power over metal. I can twist, bend, or levitate any type of metal with my mind. I can also transform my body into it as well."
((omg, a 1 liner!))

"Metal, huh, sounds cool I guess, it could be useful."

Myth had finally reached the shore, and climbing out he made his way to his towel. He quickly dried himself off, and wrapped it around his waist, while pulling his sandals back on. Then stuffing his shirt down to were the towel wrapped around his waist, so that it held the shirt there as well, he allowed his wings to burst forward. Spreading them he looked back to the long walk up to the school.

"Well, nice meeting you... I guess." Then Myth spread his wings and began to fly back toward the school.

((Actually it was a two-liner, barely...))

((true, lolz)) "Bye then," She patted Sparky's head. "Okay Sparky, one lap around the lake and we head back okay?" Sparky groaned. "Okay, fine... two laps." Sparky was suddenly very happy and slid underneath the surface of water. Moonlights head turned to metal, so that she would not have to breath for the ride, as she tagged along on Sparkys back.
