Elisa just nodded. She did need to tell everyone about it, and was just lucky that the people that found out weren't too close to her.

"Shoud I tell everyone now then?"

There was no one right answer with something like this, and Valli considered for a moment before speaking.

"Inevitably, you should do what you feel comfortable with. But if you aren't trying to keep it a secret, keeping it a secret can make the reactions you receive considerably harsher. Whether or not you want to tell people, and who you want to tell remains up to you."

"Um," She think she knew what to do now. "Thank you, sir. You gave me a lot to think about, and I think I have an idea of how I might settle this."

"I should tell everyone that I've become close with," Elisa started, speaking carefully, nonverbally asking for his opinion. "Or at least those I consider friends. Lucan should definitely be told if I want our relationship to continue further."

She stood up now. If he had no objections, then Elisa now believed their session was over "I don't need to tell everyone about it unless I need to, but I shouldn't hide it either."

Valli didn't quite know who Lucan was, but he could figure it out from context clues. The boyfriend, most likely, and that would be a rough conversation no matter what.

"It sounds like you have it correct," Valli said. "I hope some of what we've talked about will be helpful."

Their session was mostly over--within five minutes--and Valli stood up himself as Elisa did.

"It was nice speaking with you, Miss Pelham."
