Feeling Daring

Valaina had been wondering around the Academy. She didn't feel like going to class today and felt like exploring.

When she came to a sign that said "Forbidden" she felt a surge of curiousity. Normally, she would have turned right around, without even slight consideration for going in, and the possibility of getting in trouble.Today she felt brave and wanted to take a walk on the wild side for once.

Ignoring the sign, she kept walking.

After alot of deliberation as to weather it would be wise to wander into the 'forbidden' area of his school Jin decided he simply had to enter before he left, after all if he did not then there would allways be that nagging in the back of his head as to weather the area contained adamantite and he missed it. Of course he didn't treat this area like he would treat any treck into the wild, no insted Jin brought along plenty of metal, his shoes metal plates had been added to so that metal covered the toes should he have to kick something and in his gloves there was now spikes sticking out of the front. In short, if it came down to Jin having to fight he wished to be prepared.

Walking rather quickly Jin expected to see no one once he passed that all to farmilliar sign, but insted almost ran right into a girl who he didn't recognize, though her bright red-orange hair seemed to ring a bell in his head that he had seen her around campus before. Taking a step back from his almost-colision Jin blushed, he felt a bit stupid for not noticing that there was someone else out here. Looking over to Valaina he smiled sheepishly.

"Well... what might you be doing out here? You do know you can get in deep trouble, dont you?"

She hadn't expected anyone to see anyone in the forbidden area of the school. She also hadn't expected to be nearly run over by another student. Remaining calm, she casually replied, "I might ask you the same thing."

A gust of wind blew threw the trees, rising the hairs on the back of her neck. "I was bored," she shrugged, "I felt like exploring. They don't put up a 'Forbidden' sign for no reason you know. Besides, I won't let myself get in trouble."

She took one hand out of her coat pocket and ran her fingers through hair. She had wished she had put it back today, the wind was not exactly keeping it out of her face. Putting her hand back in her pocket, she shivered, longing for the sun to come out.

A smooth, calm voice wafted into the pair's ears, and suddenly, the sign reading "Forbidden" was up in flames.
Judas Anderson strolled towards them, smirking, wearing a smart black jacket to ward off the wind.
"Well, well, well, fellow students in the forbidden area...Rules are made to be broken, you know."
He peered at Valaina and then at Jin, placing a toothpick limply in his lips and lighting the end of it with a snap.
"Well, haven't met either of you before. The name's Judas Anderson. And I've come here for a reason besides simple childlike exploration."

Valaina watched as the sign went up into flames. She couldn't help but roll her eyes. Show off, she said in her mind.

"I'm Valaina," she said introducing herself. "What might your reason be for coming here, be?"

Judas bowed with a flourish.
"Pleased to meet you, I suppose..."
He leaned against his cane, staring happily at the ashes of the sign.
"I come here...because I don't care. I come here for an experience, for good writing material, I come here to meet the children of the devil, and laugh in their face. What a stupid concept 'evil' is. I'll make vampires shiver at my feet. I come out of curiousity, but also, I come for power."
