family Ties: Take Two

Today was going to be a big day. Aylin was going to confront the woman who claimed to be her sister once and for all. They were going to come to some sort of terms and things were going to be better. She couldn't sit back anymore and live in fear of being found, or attacked again. That was why she had wanted to push for this meeting, to see if the other Lamia had actually gotten a grip on herself and could be ok.

She had gotten Narraine's phone number from a mutual friend. That was something unto itself. A Mutual friend? It was hard to believe that they held connections to the same people. Even harder to believe was that the other Lamia had made friends. Not only that though, according to other people she had talked to, Narraine was actually doing well. She had settled down, was in school, and was excelling. It was these sorts of positive things that had given her the courage to message the other Lamia to begin with. Hopefully this would work out ok.

Aylin had also wanted to ask her more about their supposed shared heritage. Narraine had claimed them to be sisters, and now Aylin needed to know what she based that off of. It was the kind of thing that could shed light n everything that she was. it could help her understand where she had come from that much better.


She sat now at the Cafe table, her tail coiled neatly around her chair, waiting for the other Lamia to Arrive.
