Headline: Minister Popov Steps Down
Story: Pietro Popov, long time Manta Carlos Island Minister and advocate for the rights of blood drinkers and flesh eaters, has stepped down from his position as the new election cycle begins.

In a brief statement about the move, former Minister Popov said,

"As my goal is to ensure that our community strives for equality and dignity for all of its citizens, I must admit to myself that I am outdated. Obsolete. It is time for new ideas and fresh blood, so to speak, to grace the seats of our governing bodies.

I will continue to advocate for the rights of my fellows and for progress as a whole. But as it can be said, the future is young."

Given the proximity of elections for Minister positions, it is unlikely that former Minister Popov's position will be filled before then. We thank Mister Popov for his decades of service to the Manta Carlos community and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
