He looked back down at her, his face still quite pale. He tried to calm himself but couldn't, a tear slipped down his face, only one though.

"To kill her... she was being chase by a mind controller werewolf... she said, if he tried to take her mind over, I'd have to her... I killed the wolf, but she went mindless, for two days I waited until.... I killed her... like she wanted..." He said, and his hand rested on his sword, the same sword he used to kill Mala.

She stared at him. She didn't know what to say. All she could to was one thing. She gave him a hug. Thats all she could do at this moment.

"I'm sorry.. Soo so sorry. I just wish that you wouldnt have had to go through with that.." shne said, still fighting back tears. her tears were not only for him, but also for the fact that he would proboably never love her as he loved the other girl. She bit back the fury at herself for being so selfish.

When she hugged him, he didn't know what to do at first, then hugged back. She cared for him, a lot, and he knew it, she most likely loved him ,but he wouldn't allow it to get a hold of him, just because sixteen years ago Mala died, he just needed to face that, and go on without thinking about her.

He pulled back, and stared at Contessa, for this time, his eyes were gentle, though there was still sadness inside. He then kissed her hair.

"You've always been there... I just never noticed." He whispered, mostly to himself.

She looked up thro ugh her long eye lashes, the tears brimming slightly over her large eyes. She put her head to his shoulder. Her waistlong blonde hair ruffled slightly in the cool air that surrounded them in that barn.

"I've always liked you. i've always liked you too much. I was just afraid to show it.. afraid to tell you wehen I was younger..." she said, confessing her true feelings. She didn't look up to see his reaction though. She was worried he would be uncomfortable by that confession.

He wrapped his arms around her when she put her head against his shoulder, he loved her, and he knew it, and he knew she felt the same. He pulled her from him, and stared at her a moment, and smiled.

"I've always felt the same about, Tessa, but I was to afraid also, I've always been afraid." He said, then leaned forward and kissed her.
