Hiatus
There wasn't much conversation after Briar began helping Mukuchi, because naturally he couldn't use his phone with the space suit on and even signs were hard, since intricate movements weren't possible with the thick gloves the space suits had. But the quiet suited Mukuchi just fine, it gave him time to calm down and will his blush and nerves to go away. Briar didn't lean as close as he had when he helped Mukuchi in his space suit, and then just as Mukuchi finished putting on his suit the timer reached zero.

The simulation was very realistic, Mukuchi assumed that the room continued beyond the wall on which the blown out door had been and there were probably sensors of some kind that made the room have zero gravity without actually sucking out the air.
Briar made a grab for him once they were tugged towards space, and Mukuchi took a hold of Briar's arm and signed "Calm" at him, trying to reassure Briar. And once the two of them were pulled out of the room and in "space" all they had to do was just...float.
Mukuchi assumed this was to let the players enjoy the view, because in the holographic space view there was a planet right by them, a violet and blue planet with a silver ring around it and few moons orbiting it. The stars continued endlessly, and some parts of the dark canvas of space was vaguely purple or green. Mukuchi looked at it all with his eyes shining. He'd never been to space or other planets, and he assumed this view was more or less accurate. Mukuchi wanted to just keep gazing at it forever and the space was reflecting off of his golden eyes and visor on the helmet. And without noticing it Mukuchi had shifted his hold on Briar from his arm to holding onto his hand.

Mukuchi signed "Calm" and Briar took several deep breathes. He clung to Mu, afraid of being separated and left alone and vulnerable. Scared that if Mu encountered a problem, he could not arrive in time to help.

Space, the realm of stars and the sun and the moon, was never apart of his life. He was a wholly terrestrial creature. Minutes passed, more deep breaths, Briar slowly but not fully eased his grip on Mukuchi's arm. They floated in "space", and his rational mind remembered they were in a simulated room and none of this was real. The feel of space was the result of technology mimicing these sensations and sights.

Briar felt calm enough now to take in the sight presented to them. The distant but huge planet with it's silver ring and orbiting moons was not a sight Briar ever expected to witness. And the stars, so many beautiful glittering stars against the dark backdrop of space. Mu held his hand. Briar gave it a squeeze and smiled at Mu through his visor. "That was. . . thrilling. But I'm pretty sure we got more puzzles to solve."
