Name: Errow.
Age: Fifteen.

Species: Unicornic centaur — a unicorn stuck between forms.

Appearance Description: Above the waist, Errow is a teenage boy with a narrow face and doey blue eyes — not that most people know their color. His hair is thick and shaggy, cascading over his eyes in a white curtain and down his back in a thick braid. A broken horn peers out just above his bangs. Below the navel, he’s obviously not human. Though he might petulantly call himself a “horse”, his lower body is structured a little more like a deer. His hooves are cloven and his tail is long and fluffy like the rest of his hair. He bleeds silver, if cut.

When not wearing his school uniform, he prefers wearing a half-cloak about his shoulders, and it's not unusual to see him wrapped up in bandages. It’s not always that he’s injured… it’s just that he deliberately “forgets” to take them off after he’s healed. “They make me look like a badass, right? Because I am!”

Personality Description: For a unicorn, Errow sure is hotblooded — and silly, though that might owe more to how young he is.
  • Positive Traits: Errow is bouncy, jubilant, and determined in whatever they do. He not prone to self-pity, nor laziness.
  • Negative Traits: Unfortunately, this all means that he can be very stubborn, and ready to roughhouse at the drop of a hat. Many might charitably describe him as being “dumb as a post”.

Biography: As it turns out, there’s a reason why Scotland's national animal is the unicorn. Much as kelpies delve its lochs, unicorns roam through the deepest, darkest crannies of its lush forests and towering mountains.

Evidently though, the thickets hide darker secrets than that. Errow doesn’t like to talk about his past. The most anyone’ll get out of this recent arrival is hints that he spent a lot of time out in the wilderness all by himself, and he’ll sometimes jolt or shy away from certain things without much warning. It’s easy to suspect that whatever happened to him wasn’t good… and something had to leave him with his broken horn, preventing him from both casting spells and shifting between his humanoid and equine forms.

Active Abilities:
  • None: This boi got nothing. Yet.

Passive Abilities:
  • Evermore Immortality: As a result of Errow’s unicorn blood, he is effectively immortal. Old age is not something he will have to worry about dying from. In his early twenties, he will reach full maturity, and will grow no physically older.
  • Healthy As A Horse: Though his broken horn prevents him from casting any direct healing spells, Errow has a passive healing factor in place, and recovers from physical injuries and illnesses at thrice the speed of an average mortal.
  • Horsepower Over 9000: Not having use of his horn means that Errow stores a lot of raw magical energy inside of him. His punches and kicks are much more powerful than one would expect of a wiry little colt — at his best, he can crack solid concrete.
  • Sheds Some Light: Errow glows in the dark. All of him, from his eyes, to his hooves, to his hair, to his fingernails, to his fur, to his skin… everything. It’s a soft glow, gold-white, like early-morning sunlight filtered through fluffy clouds. Not very harsh to the eye. Alluring, maybe. “Look, I‘m a nightlight!”

Weaknesses:
  • Hairy Situation: Errow’s hair tends to magically grow at a rate that normal hair really shouldn’t grow — an inch a week — making for frequent haircuts and a resignation to his insane, practically-permanent bangs. He won’t admit it, but this means he doesn’t see where he’s going all that well.
  • Inconveniently Incorruptible: The presence of “dark” or “demonic” magics makes Errow sick to his stomach — not that he’d let you know. He thinks he’s a tough little colt.
  • Virginal Intentions: Despite his pugnacious nature, Errow finds himself unable to bring intentional harm to those who would consider themselves full virgins. Those who radiate any exceptional sense of “innocence” or “purity” also make him more docile and sleepy in their presence. “Ugh. She’s a walking sedative. I don’t need to be sedated, I need to be on my feeeeeeeet!”

Resources: As he was a bit of a vagabond before arriving on Manta Carlos, Errow doesn’t have much to his name besides his dorm room and the satchel he always carries with him — usually stocked up with organic snacks and various bandages. Sugar cubes and packets too. Lots of them.
