It was beginning to get colder out. The weather was turning to the cold grasp of winter. While he enjoyed the thought of snow coming any day now, he has had a feeling of dread fill inside him. With the coldness meant the possibility of getting sick and when that happened he would be forced to rest and recover from ailment. Whenever that happened it meant that he couldn't go out and play with people and get in trouble. Not that he intentionally got in trouble. Of course not. Anything to just entertain himself. He wasn't one to sit around and get bored due to nothing to do. He always needed something fun to do. Otherwise he was convinced he wouldn't make it trough life.

Life was something to be enjoyed to the fullest. He didn't understand the people who didn't understand that important fact. Nine was a person who was going to live how he wanted with recklessness and overall enjoyment in however way he can. If it led to his death one day, then he would accept it then and there. After all, when you die, its only a game over and a new start in the game that was called life. His mind wasn't thinking of the board game.

Today was just as chilly as all the days were beginning to get and the sky was graying with the sun hidden behind clouds. Nine was huddled warmly in a black fur lined hoodie with a zipper in the front. While it was thin, he still wore a gray long sleeved shirt underneath that had a big black butterfly printed on the front. He wore skinny black and gray plaid pants and knee high black converses. While his outfit was very black and gray and maybe boring, what must have stood out the most wasn't a tiara on his head but the rainbow colored shoelaces on his dark converses. It was a sudden contrast to the outfit yet it just screamed his way of style if that is what it could be called.

Nine could be found skipping and singing his way to the courtyard with a megaphone swinging in his hand. He had borrowed - stolen - the megaphone from the gym office when the teacher was gone for lunch. After school hours most people might be studying, but he had bigger and better things to do rather then sit around studying.

And that, was to play a epic game of hide-and-seek.

He made it outside and shivered but trudged on through the chill. Not many were outside. But he would attract their attention. Why else would he be carrying a megaphone around? He stepped up onto a table that had been set out for a sitting area when days weren't so chilly. He nearly lost his balance once but easily caught himself before he could tumble over and break something. Holding the megaphone close to his lips a wide grin was plastered over his face and he yelled through it.

"Hey you, lazy-bums!" He dragged the last word out, giggling. "Come out and play! Come out and play! Come out, come out!" He continued the yelling of nonsense for quite some until the people inside were caught trying to figure out what was going on and a handful to more people were beginning to step outside. "Yay! You came!" He would have twirled in a circle if the table didn't feel stable underneath his feet. He couldn't afford to hurt himself now when he had a fun activity planned out.

"If I haven't met you yet, my name is Nine! And I have a great idea! Let's play hide-and-seek!" He couldn't help but find this awesome and fun. A lot of the people had boring lives around here. Being separated from the rest of the world was boring. He understood that. So who wouldn't want to play along, especially with a game as awesome as this. "Those who want to play can stay, but if you'd prefer to be boring then go away.

"Those who do want to play, here are the rules! One, you cannot use your powers at all. Two, no going outside. The game will take place throughout the building, anywhere and everywhere. Three, no violence please! Hehe. And there will be two seekers appointed. When they are appointed, you all have two minutes to find a hiding place. When you are found you have to be touched by the seeker, meaning you can run away and hide again if you manage to escape but if you are caught then you have to come back here, the starting point. That's it! I'll be one of the seekers for the first round then we'll switch it up later. So, whose in and who wants to be my other seeker?"
He asked. He swept his hair out of his eyes and his color-changing eyes peered over the people there as he grinned happily as ever.

Sorcha stepped outside and heard the boy shouting about the game, although she was not much of a people person, she did a bang up job of hiding where people could not find her. Who knew maybe she could manage to make the other students see that she was not an unfeeling gorgon. Sorcha was not concerned about the rules, none of her powers would be beneficial in this game. She pulled up the hood on her sweatshirt and put her gloves on. She walked down the hill and climbed up on top of the snow covered bench. She looked at the kid with the megaphone and the colored shoelaces, "I'm in, I want to hide, which building are we using?

Ana jumped when she heard the call. Is that who I think it is? Turning to the nearest window she saw that it was, in fact, Jiu. "I'll tell you all about it later, Violet." She said, grabbing a light blue winter jacket. She turned to see Violet nod slightly, focusing on crocheting something, before she made a portal and went out to the courtyard.

She smiled as Jiu was talking. I could use a break from school, and I haven't been spending time with people as much as I should, anyway.

Ana stretched a bit after Jiu finished talking, "Alright, Jiu, I'm in!"

(OOC For those who don't know, Jiu is Ana's nickname for Nine. It means nine in Chinese and is third-tone, so it goes down and up. It also sounds rather like Joe.)

Kenichi stepped out into the courtyard, "i'm in," he said, "sound's like fun...you're going to have one HELUVA time finding me, though."

Cara slid into the courtyard after ditching her current maths class. Difficult as it was, the teacher was definitely an idiot. Anything was better than that. The air was nippy enough that she was glad she had put on at least a tight pair of jeans but not so much she had to loose the thin fluorescent purple tank top. After all, she wasn't called Iced for no reason.

"I'll play. You said you needed another seeker?" She volunteered, slipping a thinning pair of leather gloves over the hands. The pads of the fingers looked a little funky, but that's what you get when you have to make a pair of gloved stand up to freezing temperatures.

This game was going to be interesting. No-one here probably recognized her from the blonde she started out as. But then the school had gone through some major changes since then.
