Micheal layed on the roof, feeling cool breeze o his face where the moonlight shone on him. He sighed, relaxing. He liked the night, which was understandable, as his power related to shadows, but it wasn't just that. There was something peaceful about it that made him feel whole.
Michael shifted to the right to get more comfortable, and his mind drifted back to teh night before. He saw again Klay hurridly putting on a mask and leaving. He sighed, wondering when he'd see her again, and why he wanted to see her so much.

Ember walked up to the roof to get some sort of peace. It was a cool night, so she knew that she'd enojy being up on the roof. When she got there, it was practically empty with the exception of one other guy laying down. She didn't want to disturb the stranger, so she took a seat not too far from the guy but far enough.
She sat at the edge of the building and let the breeze blow at her hair and she just smiled, for it felt nice. She tooka another quick glance a t the stranger, she appeared to be thinking of someone or something, at least, that's what Ember thought when she looked at him. She looked away and lost herself in the beauty of the stars.

Klay was watching him. Michael. Again.
Since the day at the docks, she wondered about him for a reason unknown to her. Was her her first friend? How would she tell him that he couldn't see her the next time she would be able to speak? Without speaking?
She shook her head, clearing it of thoughts. Relations were not a good things. She stood up on the branch she was on, and rustled the leaves accidently. She sped into the shadows, afraid the other girl would see her. No, tonight was not the full moon, but she still had worries.
The tree was to the right of the roof and she had a perfect view of Michael and the other girl.

The night was quiet, especially on teh roof. Ember could hear the few below, their faint voices screaming wiht joy. She sighed and just sat their looking out at the sky. Then she heard something. Something that sounded like rustling of some sort; maybe leaves? She knew that there were a few trees that passed over the roof, so she started looking towards the trees., for anyhting suspicious.

There was a tree to the left of Ember which had caught her attention and made her jump; something had moved. She had managed a glimpse of something scurrying into the shadows. Ember slowly slid off of the edge of the roof and slowly made her way towards the shadows where she saw the figure go to. "Whose there?"

Michael turned as he heard a voice and saw a girl slowly approaching one of the tall dark trees that leaned close to the roof. She seemed nervous, and Michael wondered who she was; he hadn't heard anyone come. His heart jumped for a moment as he thought it might be Klay, but no, her build was different, and she didn't have the same white hair. Not that he knew if her hair would even look the same tonight. He sighed, but then started watching the girl again. He frowned, puzzled, and stood.
"Hey," he called to the girl, "Is everything alright?"

There was no reply from the shadows, but there was one from behind her. The boy who was laying down had stood up and asked Ember if everything was alright. Starlted by the unexpected question, the girl jumped and spun around to look at the guy who spoke to her. "What? Oh, um, yeah, everything's fine....I just thought I saw something....Did I disturb you or something? I'm sorry if I did."

Klay quickly jumped onto a darker, higher branch. It was definetly Michael out there. And another girl?? His girl-friend? Klay still was confused about the 'date' thing. In her land, there was a personality match up, so there were no debates or problems. She always had been nervous about that, and was absolutely lost aboutthis date-thing.

The sound of branches moving suprised Ember and she spun around saying, "I know that there is something there." She stepped closer, but the more she stepped closer, the darker it got. Ember conjured up a small flame, and leaned it in closer to see if she could see anything. She thought she could, but she couldn't get close enough or else she might burn the branches and cause a fire.
