There was only so much entertainment Heru could find by chilling at the club.

There was only so much entertainment that the young woman could get by just watching the chaos of people on public transportation or in everyday cafe's. The young woman found life far too boring - she tried so hard to find out how to entertain herself. One would think on an island full of supernatural creatures and gifted humans would be less mundane than this! Sweet Ra, she felt so stuck in a rut.

With a new thing of coffee in hand, the young Djinn began to wander the streets in search of something entertaining. Hell, she would take a mugging or something pathetic - it did not even have to be a hostage situation! Just something that was far more entertaining than this mundane life. One of the reasons she came to Manta Carlos because the human world was so predictable. Clicking her tongue in annoyance, she wandered. Someone sharply bumped into her, their watch slicing the back of her hand and the fresh coffee spilling over her shirt.

There was a hiss as she looked over to whomever it was, running her tongue across her canines. If she could make something happen to them right now, she would. For now, she returned to her now ruined shirt and stained jacket. There was a few drops of blood on the cut but right now she was more focused on the burning feeling across her neckline.

The young nephilim moved through the city, he was exploring tonight, seeing what he could find. Up ahead he spotted a girl, she looked familiar, he gritted his teeth as someone bumped into her.

He approached her, concerned at the coffee spill, then he recognized her. Heru, he had met her at the lodge. "You ok?" he asked in a kind voice, then saw the blood. "Here let me get that," reaching out he tapped the cut. It vanished closing up, and a cut exactly like it appeared on Soren's hand.

"There we are," he smiled, "not sure if you remember me, we met at the lodge."

Heru rose a brow when yet another stranger approached her with such familiarity. This was unusual. He did not look like someone from the club so he could not have recognized her on the street - and she did not feel like someone with such a baby face could attend her performances anyway. So why exactly was he coming up to her with almost genuine concern in his voice over her well being?

"I'm fine." Came her smooth voice that hid her annoyance not only from someone she did not know act so casually but also that he had now been reaching for her hand. But his finger already brushed against her skin and the cut disappeared as if it had only been an illusion that she just now discovered. Instead its dopleganger appeared on his hand in her place as if it had always been his wound to carry.

Blinking at him, Heru felt herself become more relaxed around the new addition to her little world. "Thank you." Hummed the woman as she actually gave him a look over. Ahh, that was where their paths had crossed. He had met her at the lodge during that event - she could not remember much from it which generally told her it was not worth even bothering to note it.

"Vaguely. Remind me of your name?" Having forgotten of the burn on her chest from the boiling coffee, Heru found her interest peaked.

He smiled, "you're very welcome," his healing power had always come with that price, he tried to stay positive about it.

"My name is Soren Haine," they had spoken only briefly at the lodge, so he wasn't surprised that she didn't remember him. "We met briefly at the lodge," he chuckled a bit remembering the game of spin the bottle she had witnessed. She hadn't said much something about her had fascinated him.

"I decided to head out tonight see what I could find," he had been spending more time in the city lately. "Was hoping to find a bit of fun."

Heru hummed as his name was provided, debating internally for a split second if she should actually bother to remember the name. She decided to tuck it away into temporary storage - keep it just long enough for conversation and then forget it if he did not bother to keep her interest. Though as of right now, Soren was on a good track to keep his name in her head for future endeavors.

"Right." was all the djinn said in response to him giving his name, before adding, "You said that we met at the lodge twice already." Either she was being polite by reminding him or just being a pain in the butt by making fun of that aspect of the conversation. Sometimes it was hard to tell with how much she played with inflection. It was so entertaining to see how people reacted to the same sentence but with different inflections.

Hoping to find a bit of fun, hmmm?

"Unfortunately all the good places to have fun are restricted for children." Damn, savage. "Why not find an arcade or something?"
