Noel stormed into the cafeteria. She slammed her tray down at a table. She went to groan, but then stomped her foot in frustration. She hated having no voice.

She pulled up her gloves, which looked like sleeves, and plunked down angrily. She began to nurse her soup bitterly.

There isn't even hardly anyone here, she thought grumpily.

Morgan, carrying a small cup of soup, scanned the cafeteria. All the tables were full, and her only choice was one with only one girl at it. She winced, but carried her soup over to the table and sat in the seat farthest away from the girl.

She ate it slowly with a white plastic spoon, staring at the girl the entire time, her gaze unwavering. This girl can be nice. Morgan decided. Mean at times, but usually nice. Shy, maybe... quiet. I don't know.

Morgan went back to her soup, and stared at her boot-covered feet.

Noel turned to Morgan, who had just sat down beside her. She nodded in acknoledgement.

A thought struck her then. Does she actually know that I'm mute?

Farrion decided to end his day witha nice bowl of soup. Walking in to the cafeteria, he saw where to go to get the soup, but immediately his senses alerted him to something so he scanned the room. The entire place was full with loud people who never stopped talking. Then he, noticed a table with only two people, neither of which was saying anything. Reaching out with his senses he tried to begin to understand why neither was saying anything.

he realized that one of them chose not to say anything, while the other was a mute. "Ah," he thought to himself "finally there is someone i could eat next to without them over talking." Just to be sure, however he stood and watched her eat, to be sure of his assessment.

Morgan, sucking on the white plastic spoon, noticed someone else. She could tell he was planning to come over to her table. She stared at him, looked him straight in the eyes. He seemed nice enough.

She let her eyes drop back down and stared intently at the tiny pattern on her white sweater. Morgan dipped the spoon back in the bowl without looking and took a spoonful. CRAP! she thought as it spilled onto her shirt. She spit into a napkin very quietly and discreetly and rubbed it on her sweater furiously.

While Farrion was watching the two people, henoticed the person with the spoon had spilled something all over themselves, and Farrion laughed silently to himself. It was always amusing to stand back and watch people. Many times people were very amusing and did stupid things because they knew someone was watching them.

After that though, his changed their interest and began to look at the other girl. She wasn't doing anything too interesting at the moment. She actually seem to be very upset at something

I wish i was a mind reader...
