Samhain is coming! While Samhain is a beloved holiday to all Islanders, there are a lot of newcomers that don't practice a lot of cultural sensitivity. They were raised on vampire and werewolf costumes since their childhood! How were they supposed to know!?
Starting from this year, Starlight Academy is holding Supernatural Awareness Week 3 weeks prior from Samhain, starting from October 10-16. During Supernatural Awareness Week, all students are required to attend seminars and converse with representatives of species clubs.
It's not all learning! At the end of the week, Starlight Academy will be hosting a Costume Party from October 15-16. Costumes are there to celebrate a mutual understanding between all species. There's live music, party games, and alcohol available to older students.
The costume party will take place in the IC Chatbox in City Hall from October 15-16. For the duration of the event, all events will be canon. Everyone is allowed in the Costume Party. Keep it light, and most importantly, have fun!
