Name: Corvo “Corey” Wintergreene
Age: 22
Birthday: December 19
Gender: male
Species: Demonic Murder of Crows
Class: College
Grade: College freshman
College Major: musical production
Appearance Description: He’s a young man in his twenties standing at 5'11" with a relatively fit build. He has multiple ear piercings as well as multiple tattoos on his body. He likes to keep his hair short and depending on his mood cover it with a hood or hat of some kind. He also sports a goatee and can be caught periodically with a pair of glasses. As sated initially he has many tattoos, most of which he keeps hidden underneath long sleeved shirts.
His demon form is either a large demonic raven that’s as large as a person or ten smaller crows in his truest form. Regardless of the state the crow’s eyes glow a rather sinister shade of red and the wing feathers are tipped with a golden color. Likewise, their beaks and talons also appear to be made of gold as well.
Personality Description: He’s a quick witted analytical young man with a bit of a silver tongue thanks to his nature as a raven. Having seen the worst the world has to offer left him somewhat jaded early on in life. This doesn’t however mean he’s not sociable and he’s not a pessimist either. Though his general approach to situations may lead people to believe otherwise. He opts towards pragmatism in handling situations as they arise. He prefers not to leave things to chance, opting to stay at least two steps ahead of the game. While he may make sarcastic comments, Corvo will go out of his way to take up for people who need help. He’s even been known to take in injured animals and nurse them back to health.
His demonic nature does make him rather greedy, however wanting everything doesn’t necessarily make him a bad person. His greed tends to make him rather assertive when it comes to pursuing the things he wants in life, as well as pushing people to want for better things as well. He’s a bit more refined when it comes to taking things from others, opting to lean towards strategy and making a person give him what he wants willingly rather than taking it.
Powers:
Murder of Crows: Corvo’s demon form is rather different from the standard demon form due to the fact that it comes in two modes excluding partial shifts. Normally he takes on the form of a giant raven with a golden beak and claws and wing tips. However, this form can split into ten smaller crows all of whom share the same features as the larger crow. In this form, Corvo can spread himself out over a two mile radius. The further away the crows become the weaker their strength is in proportion. Flying out of range causes that particular crow to disappear. And its energy disperses to the others. Likewise “killing” or destroying any of these also has the same effects until there’s only one left. From there, he becomes the large raven or returns to his human form and cannot split himself again for several hours. In terms of growth, Corvo gains five additional crows every ten years. Whether this will indicate a gradual evolution in the nature of these abilities remains to be seen.
Murderous Crows: The feathers on his body harden to iron hardness, allowing him to slice and pierce through objects with relative ease. This ability can only be used when the crows are all in the same area at once or if any parts of his body happen to be shifted into their corvid forms. When he completely hardens himself in his demon forms his body(ies) take on a golden coloration, thus indicating that he’s about to go on the attack. It’s also worth noting that the permanently gold areas (beak, claws, and wing tips) are permanently in that state as well.
Species Abilities: Corvo is a demon prince, one of Mammon’s many children though he’s currently unaware of his full heritage. As such he’s more robust than the average human and is naturally at the peak of physical performance by human standards. He also possesses enhanced reflexes and senses, namely his vision. Corvo can also mimic people’s voices thanks to his crow physiology. If he’s killed he’ll simply be sent to hell where he’ll be reborn and more than likely return back to Earth. His primary weakness comes in the form of holy objects and spells, as is the general standard with most demons. Additionally his royal nature is nearly undetectable to other demons thanks to a spell his mother cast on him that hides that aura for the most part.
Biography: It’s rare if not unheard of for a demon such as Mammon to lose track of one of his children. But when you have so many, mathematically it’s bound to happen eventually. And that’s where Corvo comes into play. His mother, was a rather powerful demon witch and his father was the lord of greed, Mammon. The story is rather standard for most of the children in hell. Their parents had a night of passion and along comes a baby. Somewhere during the pregnancy, Corvo’s mother had a falling out with Mammon and left, hiding away on earth and using elaborate spells to hide their demonic presence from anyone who might seek them out.
The child had a fairly normal childhood, though he found himself curious as to who his father was. When he asked his mother would find ways to dismiss the question and divert his attention. In playing with his own powers, Corvo drew attention to himself and his mother which prompted professional demon hunters to come and exterminate his mother when he was still only eleven. He would spend the next seven years living on the streets, taking up stealing and petty crime in order to make a living. His skills were prodigous from an early age and he made a great deal of money selling his skills. Upon, turning twenty he found himself getting arrested after a botched robbery attempt. He was hauled off to jail for almost two years during which time he earned a GED and was released on good behavior. Upon his release he caught wind of an island of supernatural beings like himself. Looking for a fresh start, he found himself setting course for Manta Carlos, where he quickly enrolled in courses at the college there.
