Edwards sat in the lounge on the couch, he wore a school uniform even though it wasn't required. His face was serious, he looked at the television his eyes barely watching the images on the screen. He sighed he couldn't get Tetris from his mind, how she used him and played with his emotions. He sighed getting up he moved to the bookcase and picked up a random book trying to get his mind off of her. He looked at the cover of the book to find it was a romance novel. He grumbled and put it back on the shelf, he sat back on the couch deciding to watch some stupid movie that had innaccurate explosives.

He watched some random Fiction movie, he had been moping ever since she dumped him which was about two months earlier. He wasn't emo, just bored and solumn. He had the computer that ran away from her on his person always trying to cheer him up. He found it a bit annoying. He didn't like the fact that the computer liked to meddle in his private affairs he'd ditch the computer every once and awhile by escaping out the bathroom window. Since the computer was from the future it could move, it's intellect rivaled his own. But he had learned ways to get alone time.

Harley merrily hopped into the lounge, with a huge smile on her face. This was the perfect day. She had only been in Starlight Academy for a few days and already she's enjoying her new home. She had never been in the lounge before, so when she entered, she saw someone in school uniform. She decided to sit next to him, since an interesting looking movie was on. She crossed her legs and looked at the television. Explosions. She changed her mind and looked for the remote, but then realised that the boy was probably watching it. But for some reason, she decided to ask him anyway. "Umm, are you watching that film?" she asked.

"Umm, are you watching that film?"

"Because this was the only film on without love, kissing, or anything that would remind me of the girl that dumped me." He said with a sigh. "You can change the channel if you want, I don't even find it amusing." He sounded so lame and lonely, he was quite a dull sight. It was the first time he had been dumped not to mention the first time he had been with someone. He didn't think he'd get over it easily especially with the nagging computer always trying to force him to give up all thoughts of her and find someone better.

He sighed rising from the seat, he guessed the girl rather be alone then watch a guy mope about his past girlfriend. He didn't mind, he was used to it.

Harley reached for the remote, but then she assessed the tone of the boy's voice. He sounded depressed. Well no wonder, if his girlfriend dumped him. Harley asked without thinking but with a lot of sympathy. "Aww, what happened?" She changed the channel to find some amusing comedy about some guy who keeps living the same day over and over again. Her eyes were now glued to the TV, but her ears were still open, just in case the boy would answer her question.

"Aww, what happened?"

"She made me think she loved me and then she used me and dumped me and left. No sadness no nothing, cold bloodedly dumped me like it was nothing." He said with a sigh sitting back on the couch. He looked at the screen not really finding it humorous. He sighed, he was down and he didn't find these unreal things humorous since Tetris. He rested his head against a pillow on the couch and closed his eyes. He wasn't in the mood to laugh.

He didn't want to remember how much he had loved Tetris but it never left him. He sighed looking at the ceiling remembering when they had met. He had thought of telling her about some special landmarks he had found while mapping parts of the Island.

Harley's usual smile disappeared when the boy gave his explanation. "Why, that's a terrible thing for someone to do. Why would anyone do that?" This time, she wasn't expecting an answer, so instead watched the movie... a romantic scene? That wouldn't please the boy. She changed the channel to something else. Romance, romance, romance... ah. A familliar science fiction with some strange elf. Harley watched that instead, her smile returning.

"Why, that's a terrible thing for someone to do. Why would anyone do that?"

He sighed, "I don't know... I just know that I loved her and she hurt me." He said looking at the tv screen. "Everything seems so empty without her, I miss her so much but it never gets better. She never comes back, she's back where she belongs and I'm all alone. I really would've given her anything." He said with a long sigh his eyes so sad and lonesome.

He shifted his weight, "I don't understand how all that happened between us could mean nothing, it really hurt that she could treat the relationship we had like it was nothing." He was telling the girl a lot for just meeting her.

Harley's smile faded again when the boy started a monologue about his ex. Not only was it depressing, but it forced her to turn off the TV. Suddenly, she didn't feel like watching anything now. "That's..." she started, but she was still trying to take in what the boy had said. She shook her head. "Umm... is there anything I can do for you?" she asked, wondering whether he needed - or wanted - anything.
