Oddly enough, her footsteps still clicked a little, almost inaudible, as Aswan paced yet another school corridor, looking for yet another teacher, in yet another Powers classroom, in yet another failure.
Ugh. Failure. Not only had she failed once to understand her own powers (which really were quite simple!), she had failed TWICE. Twice!
The faint click grew louder as her steps turned into stomps, as she marched along the hallways, scanning the rooms for any sign of the teacher she was supposed to meet, her textbooks almost falling out of her arms as she did so - and one did, making a loud slam onto the tile of the hall.
Growling on frustration, she picked it up, and then saw the door. The one a bit to the right, slightly ajar. Possibly the teacher's office. Finally.
Aswan made her way over, and knocking on the door, called out, "Apologies for the interruption - are you Mr. Paragon?"
