"You better get your butt back here today! Your family's hogged you enough! Give me a turn haha"

Dorian sent him a few more emojis and then sighed, flopping his arms back down on the bed. Girlfriend Pampering Day was a resounding success. Mia didn't get to press him about presents when there were surprises one after another, like literal fireworks outside their house, strippers, live music, and a four-course meal from an internationally renowned chef. He wanted to do more, but there were so few hours in the day. Mia seemed happy about it, however, and he hoped he lived up to his promise of making it a special Christmas for his girlfriend. He ran his fingers through her hair and gave her head a kiss. God, he was sore from head to toe, but it was so worth it. He patted her on the bum. "Alrighty, hot stuff. Time to get up. Logan'll be here any moment, and you two can open your present."

Their present was a mysterious entity that sealed off the second floor with a bright red bow for almost a week now. It wasn't like Mia needed her room considering they shared his bed half of the time. They've both been curious about what was behind the mysterious bow, but Dorian shut down any attempts to ask him what it was. You two can find out after Christmas, he told them, and it was now after Christmas. A promise was a promise.

Dorian stretched, dressed up in a robe, and went into the living room. Good god, it was bright out. Someone should turn the sun off.

He popped several things in the oven to heat up for Logan, then started on making crepes for Mia and, hopefully, Logan soon. "Honey? What do you want on your crepes?"

Mia groaned and wiggled her butt as Dorian woke her up. Yesterday was too good to be true, oh Gods. Mia knew Dorian had plans for her, especially after she had told him she never really had a particularly good Christmas before, but she couldn’t have imagined everything Dorian had put together just to ensure this Christmas was different. Fireworks, partying, a romantic dinner, and of course ending up in bed with a man she loved so dearly after it all.

In the past, holidays usually involved a lot of crying, getting severely wasted, and hating herself. Something always seemed to go horribly wrong around this time of year. She was always involved with the wrong people. But this year…it was incredible how different this year was. How happy she was, for once.

And it wasn’t even over yet. They were not even exchanging gifts until Logan got back. It was fun hoarding Dorian for a little while, but she looked forward to having her sweet Logan back. Also, the curiosity of what Dorian was hiding on the second floor was driving her nuts. It was going to be a big deal, whatever it was. Everything was elaborate when it came to Dorian.

Mia sat up in Dorian’s bed and stretched, before sliding out and grabbing her own robe to join him in the kitchen.

“Hmm…strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream is sounding good.” Mia replied as she went over to Dorian and rubbed her fingertips along his back.

She then wrapped her arms around Dorian’s waist, hugging him tight.

“Yesterday was amazing. You are amazing,” she said softly, reaching up to kiss him on the neck. “Thank you.”
