Certainly Uncertain

Isabelle laid in the grass looking up at the sky. It was in the middle of the day and most students were in their classes. But Isabelle couldn’t bring herself to go, she was still pondering the one question that was eating her up inside. Why did the demons still attack her family when she wasn’t with them anymore? But there was also the other questions like, She thought they only wanted her? And why did they want her anyway? All these questions ran through her mind.

Isabelle was so spaced out and didn’t know that some classes were over and kids were starting to come outside. She still laid there with a look of puzzlement on her face. Anyone could easily tell that something clearly was bothering her....

Terra was the first one out the door when classes ended. She was so glad to be out of the confinement they called "learning." She was an outdoors person, and out of all the places she'd been, this one was one of the most beautiful. Staring up at the sky, she twirled through the grass until she saw someone laying down.

Raising her eyebrows, she stopped suddenly and plopped down next to the girl on the grass. She laid down next to her. "Pretty sky, isn't it? It's gorgeous! Have you ever seen a more beautiful one? I have... but that was really far away. I've seen almost every sky there is to see, and I have to say this one rates high on my list."

She was in a pleasent mood, not too hyper, not to crazy, and certainly not mad. But this girl didn't seem happy. She wanted to make her laugh. Terra absolutely loved it when people laughed. Laughing was such a beautiful sound. "What's wrong?" she asked absently. "Can you laugh? I love laughing." Terra laughed then, for no reason.

"Oh no, I'm fine or going to be fine anyway. But thank you for asking. I'm Isabelle but most people call me Izzy. And yes it's a very pretty sky." Isabelle said, as she smiled at the girl next to her. "And yes I can laugh quite a lot but I really haven't for quite sometime now." She said to the girl honestly as she eyes remained on the sky.

Isabelle had been way to serious to laugh nowadays. She could, she knew she probably still could but she didn't feel in the right mood to laugh. Besides nothing really that funny was said anyway.
