Personality Description: Cecilia has a proud disposition, walking with her head held high and purpose in her steps. She is confident in her abilities but sometimes underestimates problems she is faced with, like eating chocolate is bad for her, but she will steel herself for the indigestion just for a bite of it. Her social graces are questionable at best, not having been exposed to a lot of different attitudes, so she is prone to saying things that others may find out of line.

However she is a friendly girl overall who just wants to take on problems in the name of her friends (or good mannered acquaintances), wanted or not.

She also has a strong dislike for the school and especially the scouts for having torn her away from her life, despite things being perfectly fine.

  • Enhanced Endurance: It is very difficult to tire out Cecilia. She has 3 times the endurance and stamina of a physically fit human. She can also stay awake indefinitely, and they require very little nutrition every day. She can, however, sleep or eat more than they have to, if they want.
  • Unaging: Cecilia does not physically age. She still might die of old age eventually, though one usually can't be certain of when this will happen.

Weaknesses:
  • Vulnerable to Persuasion: She have been engineered for obedience. As such, it is very easy to persuade her to do something. Even if they actively don't want to do something, they will find it difficult to resist the compulsion to obey almost any command issued to them, or any kind of strong suggestion for how they should behave.
  • Feline Diet: Cecilia's diet is about as limited as a cat's would be. Caffeine, chocolate, and many types of spices can make them very sick, as can most processed foods.
  • Feeble: Cecilia is about as physically strong as a 10-year-old child, and no amount of strength training can change that.
  • Neural Interface: Cecilia is implanted with a chip in her brain stem that allows people with the appropriate NEK0 controller device to basically take over her body. They can feel what she feels, and while being piloted she is unable to wrestle control over her own body. She takes a back seat, as if watching and feeling things unfold on a movie screen. A capable enough hacker might also be able to interface with her.

Biography: The Cheslocke family was rich, lived in their own mansion estate in Britain, and had plenty of influential friends. It just so happens that Cecilia's soon-to-be adoptive parents had always had trouble bearing a child, and the one they did have was sickly. They did all they could to keep her healthy, up to her teenage years when things became progressively worse.

A friend of theirs, who was always jealous of the family but kept it hidden, suggested a procedure that was supposedly only found on the black market. The family trusted this man as his family was closely tied to theirs for generations and was nothing but supportive of them. As the friend said it, there was supposedly a secret society of researchers and doctors who, while they perform unethical experiments, were leagues ahead of modern medicine, and could fix their daughter's body so she could be as healthy as everyone else.

Desperate, the family decided to give it a try, and a few days later, the friend took the daughter with him. However, he didn't do it to cure her, but instead so the technicians could make a perfect copy of her.

The family friend was hatching a plan to ruin the family from the inside, and take everything from them after a few years, and he would use a NEK0 in the daughter's likeness to do it. The family won't care if the girl he brought back had cat's ears and a tail, so long as they believed it was their daughter, he thought.

Camilla was her name, and her likeness and all her memories were implanted onto the NEK0. The NEK0 was brought back, and Camilla was left in the lab as part of the friend's payment. The family, while horrified at first, were happy to have Camilla back. They and their servants learned to ignore the feline characteristics and things more or less became normal. Camilla never went out of their property so they didn't have trouble hiding her features from the public, as they were also afraid for her life, as such a thing was unimaginable.

But soon they caught on that Camilla started to act strangely. At first she couldn't remember things about the house and the family, then at times she could be seen sneaking around at night. Soon things became stranger as Camilla would burst into tears, claiming she was being possessed whenever she snapped out of the trance-like state.

They were visited by another friend, secretly a scout, who was shocked to see Camilla. The scout was close to the family as he and the father had conducted business together a few times in the past (the scout was a procurement officer in Manta Carlos before becoming a scout) and became close friends.

The scout pulled Camilla's parents aside and told them about NEK0s, how he was there to disrupt their operations as the catgirls and catboys were largely abused. He inspected Camilla and found her to be well taken care of, and that the family genuinely thought she was the real thing.

The family was angry, but they kept treating Camilla the same, but didn't tell her anything as the scout went to track down the person who took Camilla and let the father take care of the punishment while the scout handled the cleanup.

The scout tracked down the facility and made short work of it with the help of other scouts, but they couldn't find the real Camilla. The NEK0 was soon renamed to Cecilia after the parents and the scout sat her down and told her the whole story. She was welcome to stay but also invited to Manta Carlos. Though she declined, stating that she didn't want to leave her new family, as they had just lost their real daughter and couldn't come with her because they were tied up with their business.

Though their problems hadn't ended. While Cecilia's father was an honest businessman, he wasn't that innocent a few decades ago, having been involved with bad people who felt entitled to some credit for his success, and unfortunately some of them made it big. Her father's repeated refusal to engage with them caused a lot of problems.

One of those people invited themselves into their home with escorts to cause trouble. They injured the maids and butlers, and was in the process of beating up her father before she jumped in to try and defend him, only for her to be knocked aside, leading to the discovery that she was a NEK0.

And with that she was used as blackmail. After the incident, Cecilia started being possessed again and forced to cut her mother with a kitchen knife, though she had convinced herself since that it was a nightmare and nothing more.

And then one day, she woke up, cuffed in some boat, with no one around but the scout that had helped them before. The scout wouldn't say anything about the family, but said that it was for her own safety that she was being taken to Manta Carlos.
