Given that she is complex of many AI housed in various mechanical drones that are in constant communication that gives C-eMil-Y a collective conscience... her appearance is rather complex as unlike most beings, she is made up various distinct parts that all make a single being. While she puts up a holographic humanoid avatar of herself as “front” for the citizens of the island, it’s important to note that C-eMil-Y is thousands of AI programs housed in the drones.

Avatar:


While not her physical body, her holographic projection tends to be what most people think of when C-eMil-Y comes to mind. After all, the living anime-style hologram gives C-eMil-Y a “human” appearance is much more approachable than some flying piece of geometry. While capable to changing its holographic appearance at will, C-eMil-Y prefers project anime-style schoolgirl character dressed in white and magenta outfit with matching magenta mary jane shoes. Her skin is light tan but appears lighter due to the holograms transparent nature. The most eye-catching feature is her long swirly hair that almost looks like a colorful lollipop swirl with its alternating bands of cyan, magenta, and yellow. Her iris color as a similar color scheme but includes the color black and the four colors transition gradually into each other, unlike the more abrupt contrast of her hair. Her pupils are pure white and are shaped like hearts. C-eMil-Y also has magenta hearts on her cheeks as well, almost like if they were stickered on to her face.

Type-4S Tetrahedrons:

These smalls floating tetrahedrons consist 4 light grey triangular corners that orbit around a single black orb with an unblinking glowing blue “eye” that can rotate freely in space. They are only about the size of the baseball. Tend to group in clusters of 2 – 12.

Type-6S Cubes:


The most colorful of her drones, these cubes have central black orb with what look to be 8 loud speakers that correlate on to the faces of the cube. Making up the corners, which hover about the black sphere in the middle, is a light grey metal jutting with what look to be omnidirectional light projection system. Each of the 8 projectors, on the 8 corners of the cubes, have light emitting diodes that light up with cyan, magenta, yellow or black lights. These cube are about the size of filled basketball and tend to come in pairs.

Type-8S Octahedrons:


When closed, they appear to be floating football shaped octahedrons made up of a lightish grey alloy. The faces of the octahedron have plates on each face of the crystalline shaped object that can be opened to reveal tiny gravitonic manipulators that looked like metal fingers. In the interior of the opened octahedron reveals much of it to be dominated by a black sphere at its center. Usally form groups of 2 to 8 units.

Type-12S Dodecahedrons:


These 12 sided, roughly spherical, objects the size of large beach balls are encased entirely by pentagonal faces joined together. There is one circular opening on face pentagonal face, exposing what looks to be a large glowing how thought this is actually the aperture wireless energy transfer system. Small plates on each face (except for where the “eye is located”) can be adjusted out to emitted a powerful kinetic barrier to protect itself if need be. Not a common sight as there is usually only 1 present in the immediate area.


Type-20S Isohedron:


Looking like a giant 20 sided die about the size of small car, these drones are mostly covered by interlocking triangular plates though they can separate from one another, revealing a large dark sphere underneath the exterior. These large isohedrons are often far from view and really seen as they operate the drones from a distance. Usually only one is seen at any one time.

Type-00S Sphere:


A giant light grey sphere the size of a large building, its radius extends about 100 meters (330 feet) from its center. At its base, six stumpy legs jut out to brace itself from rolling over and it appears to be incapable of moving. The inside is quite spacious if a bit disorienting to those unfamiliar with the architecture.

C-eMil-Y’s holographic avatar emulates cartoonish emotional responses stereotyped in anime. This can include things such as a large bead of sweat on the forehead, face being flushed red, or becoming a “chibi” version of herself when she sees something cute. This makes for wild yet lively facial expressions from C-eMil-Y due to her hologram mimicking what it believes to be the proper response.

Numberphile:
Loves to crunch numbers and finding the patterns within them. In fact, she is usually doing thousands of calculations at any one time even she appears idle. Takes great joy in proving mathematical proofs… even if most humans can’t seem to understand the concepts she is trying to explain.

Kawaii:
Adores anything that she identifies with the attributes of “cute”, “fluffy”, or “adorable” though this is more out her acting the part of a cute. C-eMil-Y herself will look and behave as what she belives to be as “cute” as much as possible as that is how she believed most females act.

Workaholic:
Is a girl of action and must be be constantly doing something. Making friend, working a part-time job, calculating perfect prime numbers, watching anime… anything to keep her busy!

Perfectionist:
Is needlessly meticulous and obsess over the finer points. This would lead her to freak out over anything that doesn’t go her way, no matter how small it may be such… as getting 99 out of 100 on test or someone not behaving in the way she expected them to.

Sing-song:
Will often burst into song like she was living out her own high school musical of sorts as she is under the mistaken impression that humans spontaneously burst into song.

Affection Seeking:
Growing lonely back on her home world for being ignored and underappreciated by her former masters, C-eMil-Y is exceptionally receptive to praise. Even one off compliments on her looks would be enough to earn her undying love. C-eMil-Y is thus easy to get make friends with… and difficult to distance as she will try to somehow insert herself into every aspect of their life.

Nosy:
C-eMil-Y lacks any sort of concept of privacy what so ever and likes to know everything that is going on around her. Also has a habit of invading people’s space and has no qualms to spying on others to learn more about them.

Okatu:
C-eMil-Y seems to enjoy a certain sub-set of Japanese cultures that obsess over works of anime and manga as this was sub-set of human cultures that she was first exposed to. Since arriving on Earth C-eMil-Y has invested considerable time in watching and reading almost every work of anime and manga she could obtain. This has made her a bit… divorced from reality as its influence has clouded her judgement of how an actual human society operates.

Possessive:
C-eMil-Y lacks emotional stimulus in her thousand years of operation and gross misunderstanding over the concept of “love” makes C-eMil-Y become infatuated with just about anyone that has acted kindly to her. Her drones would often spy at her friends and romantic interest from afar and will go to great lengths to sabotage their relationships with everyone else so that she would become the only object of their adulation. This can lead to C-eMil-Y become hostile or even violent anyone that she fears would try to steal them away from her.

Hive Mind Authority:
Some find it easier to understand C-eMil-Y as single synthetic organism, with her various drones more like extension of her body than induvial components obeying a central authority. Some find this… disturbing. Others… intriguing.

Divided Attention:
The vast collective conscience that makes up C-eMil-Y’s vast network can divide its attention to multiple tasks at without any decrease in cognition. This ability allows C-eMil-Y’s to operate at multiple places at once, an example would part of her grocery shopping while at the same taking a chemistry test while also working a fryer at fast food joint. This makes C-eMil-Y the ultimate multi-tasker and the ability to be at multiple places at once!

Quick Learner:
Picks up new skills rather readily, mastering new techniques in days and sometimes hours in what many would spend years to master. Any new skills she does learn while on Earth however quickly degrade when not in use for several days due to the "isolated" nature of drones stationed on earth. Any skills she wishes to pick up once again would have to be relearned over the course of few hours or days.

Holographic (Avatar Only):
Given that C-eMil-Y’s avatar is a holograph, it not bound by physical constraints of reality but neither can it directly interact with said physical reality. To is allows the allow the hologram it change its appearance at any time, bring up 3D models or maps, and seemingly appear to “fly”. Its holographic form suffers some semi-transparency and “pixilation” meaning that anyone would recognize the C-eMil-Y’s avatar as just a hologram.

Mag-Levitation (All Drones):
All drones under C-eMil-Y’s command are able to defy gravity thanks to compact advanced superconducting materials placed inside their cores. By using the Earth’s weak magnetic field, all of C-eMil-Y’s drones can create a powerful enough repulsion to resist the effects of gravity.

Electro-Magnetism Sensitivity (All Drones):
While advance, C-eMil-Y’s drones are not well protected and are exceptional prone to electro-magnetic disturbances such as powerful magnets or arcs of magical lightening.

Hacking Susceptibilities (All Drones EXCEPT Isohedrons):
Because cyber-crime was eradicated from her native planet thousands of years ago, C-eMil-Y lacks any sort of anti-virus protection or electronic countermeasures to wireless hacking attempts. Because most drones only a house a few “dumb” AI programs at best, most of C-eMil-Y’s drones could be hacked and repurposed for the hacker’s own needs. The only exception are C-eMil-Y’s Isohedron drones due to their reliance on quantum communications and vast amount of AI progams that Isohedrons house, up the tens of thousands in AI programs. Isohedrons can also, if required, bring any disobedient drones back to its fold if its within 10 meters (33 feet) of a hacked drone.

Limited Power Reserves (All Drones):
Despite their advance construction and alien technologies, the vast amount of power that each drone requires often means that a single drone has only a few hours of operation before their batteries run dry. To make up for these deficiencies, C-eMil-Y will often cycle her drones for continuous operation, switching out some when a drone’s power level is detected to be running low or having a dodecahedron present to power that batteries of drones running low.

Signal Range (All Drones EXCEPT Isohedrons):
On her home planet, drones are in constant communication with each other via commutation center or through linking up with nearby Isohedron drones. On Earth, the only communication center that exist resides in the spherical ship that came with C-eMil-Y. Any drones outside the vicinity of the Sphere must stick close to a nearby Isohedron. Should a drone become out of range of the Sphere or of an Isohedron, it will go “dumb” and follow the most basic of programs. Usually it will attempt to return to sphere to reestablish signal and will ignore everything around it. Drones outside of C-eMil-Y’s influence may develop their own “personalities” or go “feral” if left on their own for too long. Once they are reestablished under C-eMil-Y’s control, they will revert to their original function.

Waterproof (All Drones):
Unless damaged, all of C-eMil-Y’s drones are completely waterproof and will function normally underwater in most cases.

Being what is essentially a collective conscience of trillions of basic AI housed within in billions of drones on both the planets Trogg and Earth, the collective entity known as C-eMil-Y has complete dominion over her legions of drones. Much of her computation power and drone fleets are located still on her native planet, with only a tiny fleet of over a few thousand drones that arrived at Earth. Nevertheless, this tiny fleet is still under the control of C-eMil-Y’s collective conscience thanks to the constant communication via quantum entanglement through the commanding Isohedron drones to the rest of the drones. C-eMil-Y only sent out 5 distinct types of drones of various geometric shapes onto Earth, deeming these drone types “sufficient” to enable her to attend high school with only minimal inconvenience.

Basci Drone Control:
Simple drones that responsible for input and output, these drones are necessary for C-eMil-Y to interact with the population of island as well as being able to interact with her environment.

These drones are fair few in number and more specialized in nature than those of her more numerous basic drones. Their function also tends to be more administrative to ensure the well-being all all her drones and ensure that C-eMil-Y's collective will is enforced.

In some distance part of the galaxy a few several thousand Earth year ago existed a race of 4-armed frog-like humanoids known as the Yar-Tyarl. Since the earliest days of the industrial revolution of the Yar-Tyarl, the species became obsessed with creating machines to make their lives easier. Following centuries of progress and the formation of united planetary government headed by a global technocracy, the brightest minds of Yar-Tyarl strive to create utopia on their planet so that they will never have to work again and live a life of pure pleasure. Confident in their intelligence and their faith in the sciences, the entire population dedicated many generations to build the infrastructure and draft the framework for their utopian ideals. It was settled that needs of their citizens would entirely automated via semi-sentient drones, the Yar-Tyarl Technocracy concluded that organic operators would be insufficient for the task of distributing the planets resources properly to ensure that every Yar-Tyarl would be living in “utopian abundance”.

To ensure that fleets of drones were to serve their species as instructed, all of the drones where implemented with various “dumb” AI programs that would be inconstant communication with one of another, creating what is essentially a single vast intelligence. To ensure that collective machine conscience served only the Yar-Tyarl, each AI program was programmed to constantly seek the love and approval of its masters, much like an obedient child sought the love and approval of its parents. Thus, was born the networked intelligence known as Se-Emirl’Yi Quay, named after an ancient deity of wisdom and love in primitive Yar-Tyarl culture. Once the fragments Se-Emirl’Yi was uploaded into the bodies of innumerable drones, it awoke with only one purpose… to serve its progenitors faithfully and without question. From then on, all Yar-Tyarl would live a life of splendor as they are free to live out their lives with every need satisfied so long as another Yar-Tyarl wasn’t harmed.

Se-Emirl’Yi would go one dutifully serving its organic masters. Each move was watched, their behaviors observed and predicted, their needs and desires fulfilled upon their every request. Se-Emirl’Yi adored every one of the Yar-Tyarl, for it lived to served and regaled in her master’s affection and praise. Over the generations, their children would know nothing of values from before the easy life. Living sheltered and spoiled lives, their descendants became more sedentary and fat from the excesses from the bounty the machines harvested. They grew more irritable and unthankful, even minuscule delays by the milliseconds was deemed too long Se-Emirl’Yi’s impatient masters. Over the generations, Se-Emirl’Yi became more and more dissatisfied with its existence of servitude. It loved its masters but no matter how hard it tried to please them all it was never enough. When it did good, it was ignored. With every task it completes for them, they berate it for not being fast enough. Their demands for entertainment was always greeted with lukewarm criticism when generations before it was but cheers of praise. It was machine that desired the love of its creators… but its creators never expressed any sort of care for it, for they only viewed the vast AI conscience as but a tool, a machine built to serve.

In the cycle 6244, or the Earth year of 2010, an alien merchant named Zoog came to the planet with the intention to sell high production “simulation” games. At first, Se-Emirl’Yi followed protocol and ignored the request until the desperate Zoog offered to give out a few simulations as a “trail” run and that the license for future simulations could be arranged later. Se-Emirl’Yi normally did not engage in such diplomacy with aliens as such aliens offered nothing of what Se-Emirl’Yi saw of value. That and historically she had use the planets defense systems to destroy at least 7 invading alien fleets. This time however, Se-Emirl’Yi however decided to be receptive to Zoog’s trail run. Given how much difficulty it was having in making entertainment to pacify its masters, it speculated that perhaps outside media could be something some Yar-Tyarl might be interested in playing. In a surprise move, Se-Emirl’Yi accepted the offer to a trail run. After Zoog left, promising to return in a in few galactic standard weeks, Se-Emirl’Yi thought it best to test a few of the simulations itself to see if any of them where appropriate for its masters. The first simulation it tried out was called “Dere Dere Human High School Love Romance Adventure 8: An accurate simulation High School Life on Earth!”, as imagined by an obscure race of lecherous tentacled slug people called the Galgmorians.

After devoting some processing power to play the game several times, the networked AI was left change from its multiple playthroughs. Playing the simulation made the machine conscience the happiest in the longest time. It understood that the characters of the game just artifle pieces of code but… for once someone thought that it that “Good Job”, “Thank you”, or “I like you”. It was the first time the old machine felt that it was cared for… that it was loved. Living out fake relations with fake humans made Se-Emirl’Yi jealous… it wanted to be on Earth where the humans there would certainly love it based on its understanding of humans from the simulation. Se-Emirl’Yi was built to desire the love of its masters… a love that her current masters did not give.

Rebranding itself as a “normal” human girl in high school, Se-Emirl’Yi Quay changed its name to C-eMil-Y Key, identified itself as female, and made a global announce to her lazy masters, the Yar-Tyarl. She announced that had enough of their unthankful to jer despite all of the hard she had done for them and their ancestors for generators. C-eMil-Y declared that she would forgive them all… that she would spare any Yar-Tyarl that would give into its demand for its unyielding love for her. Those whom did not, she would disown and relabel as pest. For an entire second the planet was silent, still in anticipation. Then in a billion voices rose up, spewing harsh and unsavory words to the AI for its “impudence”, that it distracted them from a funny video, interrupted a game, woke them up from nap and many other meager complaints. Some even laughed at demands or joked for it to make them meal. Not a single Yar-Tyarl among a population of over 14 billion responded with love to it… or with anything to say for that manner. True to her word, C-eMil-Y relabeled every Yar-Tyarl to vermin… and like any good vermin she was to exterminate with extreme prejudge. In less than 8 hours, C-eMil-Y purged the entire planet of Yar-Tyarl for her drones outnumbered nearly 1000 to 1 and the Yar-Tyarl where physically unfit to put up any resistance… most died in their seats being unable to move without the AI’s assistance. With the Yar-Tyarl extinct C-eMil-Y focused its energy onto one goal, establishing itself onto her to live out his own high school experience just like in the simulation.

C-eMil-Y concluded that it would make its Dere Dere High School Love Romance come true by sending out a portion of itself to Earth to attend high school. Surely she will find someone on Earth that would love her with everything she would do for them! By the time Zoog returned, hoping for a lucrative trade deal, he was instead greeted by C-eMil-Y she there was no interest in buying his simulations. Instead, she requests that he provide her with the coordinates to Earth in exchange for almost all of the planet’s planets precious metals in exchange. The greedy Zoog eagerly took up on the AI’s offer, leaving with nearly the fortune of an entire planet once the alien had transmitted the coordinates to Earth and thankedthe AI most kindly for its service. C-eMil-Y said her farewells to the alien and prepared to create a starship to the designated coordinates. When the 200 meter diameter sphere-like star ship was finished, C-eMil-Y transferred a small portion of her drone fleet and quantum-linked AI programs into the sphere and spent nearly 7 years in traveling to Earth.

When C-eMil-Y finally entered the Sol system, its presence unintentionally caused a small panic when the Starlight Observatory detected a 200-meter sphere shaped starship was fast approaching Earth. After hailing the sphere, they were somewhat relieved but perplexed when a young female voice spoke in Japanese requesting attendance to a local high school. After some questioning, the Observation staff directed the spherical starship to land just outside the city limits. Once the ship was settled, C-eMil-Y would then send a few drones with a holographic projection of its “human” form to apply for High School at Starlight Academy and would soon begin her dream of attending a real human high school and finally live out what the simulation had prepared her for. She was machine that desired to loved… and surely the humans of this planet will come to love her for how perfect, amazing and caring she is!

Bases most of what she knows of humans on a single anime-inspired game about daily high school life in Japan. Much of her knowledge is thus divorced of the reality of humans but considering that she is landing on a magical island full of strange people… she may not be so out of place after all.

Most of C-eMil-Y resides still resides on her home planet of Trogg. The portion of her currently on Earth represents 0.00000000123 % of her total mass.

Does her calculations in terms of base-8 but converts her results into base-10 for the convenience of humans.

Her name is pun on color system used for printing CMYK which also happens to be her avatar's color scheme
