Applying for new employment was always such a hassle. Eon had already hit the places with the hiring signs but they all seemed to have gotten their necessary positions filled. It was a damn shame because he was such an excellent worker if they'd just look at his resume and check with his references. There was a mild lack of hope for finding anything as he strolled down the street. That was until he noticed the funeral home. It had nice old Gothic architecture and the grounds were dotted with tomb stones. He may have prowled around here at night in his cat form once or twice. There were no signs out indicating a need for employment, but there was no reason not to take a chance.

He entered the main entrance. and stood in the lobby. There was no one immediately present to receive him, but his cat ears could hear movement elsewhere in the building. It was fine, he swished his tail and simply opted to wait in the lobby. It was a business after all, someone should be with him shortly.

He adjusted his tie and made sure his shirt was completely tucked in, checked his Jacket to make sure it was still as spotless as it had been all day. "Excuse me, I was wondering if there were any positions available," he projected his voice just loud enough to get the attention of the owner.

Fadia sighed in relif as she heard the young man's voice downstairs. She had been typing at her computer all morning filling out order forms for embalming supplies and returning emails from a few greatful families, when she would have preferred to be doing something else. Putting on a polite smile as she got up and smoothed out her dress, the jackal lady headed down to the lobby to greet her curious guest.

"Good afternoon, sir. I am Fadia Karimi, the owner of this funeral home," she said, "May I ask what position you were looking to apply for?"

She was a little skeptical, especially since the young man in front of him didn't appear to be much more than a teenager, but perhaps she might have found an office assistant.
