Boredom and lack of room

She had only really wanted to go to the library for some peace and quiet, to get away from people, but as Apollinariya let the door to the library click closed behind her, her somewhat reclusive train of thought was cut short like it had been chopped off by a knife and she was left momentarily speechless. That was a rarity in itself, 'Nariya was rarely speechless, always having a comeback for every possible situation; but what had greeted her and caused this momentary lapse was in her mind even rarer. The library was busy...no, more then that, the library was crowded.

An avid reader as she was, she had never seen a crowded library. She preferred it that way.

She almost physically bit off the snarl of disgust that had undoubtedly appeared on her face - Crowds, yuck - and began peering through the other people in search for a table to sit at. Most were occupied, something which she couldn't understand, and she was about to give up and go and find somewhere less crowded to read when she spotted a table, by a window that let in vast beams of lemon-yellow sunlight, where only one person sat. There was undoubtedly room for more.

'Nariya picked her way through the people in the way reminiscent of claustrophobics the world over. Once at the table, she took a moment to collect herself and peer thoughtfully out of the window before looking down at the one, lone person sitting at that table. She raised an eyebrow and cleared her throat, more to alert the other to her presence then anything else, before adding "Mind if I sit here?"

[ooc: Bad, bad, but....first post. You can make allowances, y'know]

Allie looked up and nodded she was reading a book on altering personalities.... She kept trying to figure out how come she kept waking up somewhere she wasn't before and then getting yelled at or hit in the head which wasn't her favorite.... She turned her attention back to the girl.... "Names Allie"

Apollinariya raised an eyebrow, probably because the introduction was so unexpected. She had just, after all, survived a near death experience clambering through the crowds that had just descended for no particular reason on library. She took the response as a 'yes' and drew up one of the small plastic chairs to sit on.

She didn't like them. She was a tall girl and the chairs were so short that she practically had to fold her legs under herself to get comfortable. She was no giant, although she -was- a tall girl, and she thought the chairs stupid. It took minutes of shuffling and squirming to get comfortable so that her legs didn't cramp under her.

'Nariya looked up from her readjusting the chair to subject the other girl to a moment's consideration before responding "Name's Apollinariya", short and to the point as always.

Allie smiled... "Quite a crowd today, I expect that it will be more hard to study today... What you going to read? I'm working on alternate personalities.."

'Nariya barely supressed a shudder at the thought of the crowd of people. She didn't like to be that close to that many people and in all honesty they disgusted her. She wasn't a people person in general, and tended to stay away from places where such a large amount of people where. The Library had been...unexpected.

"Hmm?" She raised an eyebrow at the...Allie's...question. "Eh.." She snatched a book from a nearby shelf "'Illusions and their uses'"
