Personality

• Awkward - Coming from a completely different culture, Avatia hardly knows how to interact with other Manta Carlos Islands inhabitants. Most of her information comes from the internet or books she read in the library, so it's common for her to say something inappropriate, being rude without realizing it, and have a seemingly inconsistent personality because she doesn't know how to properly express herself.
  
  
• Brash - Avatia has a habit of deciding actions based on her feelings rather than logic. Usually this leads to her putting herself into dangerous situations, either because she's confident that she'll win, or because her curiosity got the best of her. She's also pretty bad with her words and actions, so even when she has good intentions there's times where she just doesn't know when what she's saying or doing is offensive or disgusting. This has led to her having shaky relationships and having trouble at following the rules, even if she is attempting to follow them.
  
  
• Curious - Learning is Avatia's favorite activity. She visits the libraries of Manta Carlos Islands regularly, taking notes and absorbing as much knowledge as she can constantly. Not a day goes by without Avatia viewing it as some sort of magical learning experience. Funnily enough, she sometimes skips classes she finds boring just to research other stuff the class isn't covering. Her constant desire to learn has led to her bringing up uncomfortable subjects around people. When she tries to be friendly with people sometimes she'll ask personal questions about their lives, insert her opinions where they weren't wanted, and be very pushy about getting her questions answered. This has led to some people finding her annoying and uncomfortable to be around. Her desire to learn has also led her to steal and enter places she has no business being, leading to her having a growing list of law breaking.
  
  
• Friendly - Despite her socially awkward, pushy, and arrogant attitude, she still tries to be friendly to people. She is very hopeful about making friends and finding a "group" she can fit into on the islands, yet she finds it hard to get herself out there to socialize. She is very quiet, speaking in short worded sentences, even if she knows them well. However, once a subject is brought up that she's interested in she won't stop talking and will try to give as much trivia she can remember as possible. A good way to describe her feelings about interacting with others is "ambivert". Both introverted and extroverted depending on how you approach her.

Avatia is the future Grand Overseer in her world, created specifically to replace her parent if they ever came to die. Since their parent is already pretty old, she knows that they'll either die in a few years, or from someone killing them. Because of this, Avatia decided to try exploring other places instead of being stuck knowing she's just the replacement for a relative she made little emotional attachment to. She likes to portray her decision as rebelling against the authority, and during her hops to different worlds she came to learn about one that had many diverse types of creatures living together.

Through the use of Starlight Academy's space station, she found herself on an island filled with creatures living together happily. She tried to integrate herself into the island, which seemed easy considering she wasn't the only one with a strange appearance. She even had... most of the humanoid look down. If she just made a few adjustments she could look like the other humanoid creatures hopefully. Only issue she thought she'd had would be language barriers, but that seemed to be solved with some sort of magic or technology that allowed her to hear others in her own language and for others to understand her perfectly.

Powers

• Hammerspace Physiology - Avatia is capable of using her void eyes and mouth to suck in matter that's directly in front of her and in her line of sight. She's also able to combine her eyes and mouth to create a bigger void that takes up her whole face, which she uses for matter that's bigger than her eyes and mouth, but smaller or about the size of her head. There they will be frozen, and when she releases them they will come out exactly how they looked when they were sucked in. She's able to store an infinite amount of things into her body, but it's highly possible for her things to get lost if she doesn't regularly release. This ability can be used to transport people or objects, but when someone is sucked in they will not have any memories of being inside due to their frozen state, and their last memory will be of them being sucked into her.
  
  She tries to not suck in anything that's larger than void entrance(s) though. Not only does she know it looks disgusting and weird, it's also a strain on her body unless she also uses her shape-shifting.

Species' Abilities

• Shape-Shifting - She's also able to morph her body into different forms. She can take a gaseous form, change her limbs, and combine her eyes and mouth to create a giant circular void that covers up the majority of her face. That last one she uses to store objects that are bigger than her eyes or mouth, but small enough to fit through her head. No matter what though, she'll still retain her space-like appearance that she can't change. She also cannot morph into anything that has more matter than her or less.
  
  
• Longevity - Avatia can live forever, always looking as she does now, but she is still vulnerable to things like being wounded and killed. When she dies her body returns to space, explodes, and becomes apart of it.

Skills

• Curiosity + Intelligence - Avatia has a strong sense of curiosity. She can never resist learning something new, and she has a strong long of learning about different species, plants, buildings, languages, whatever you can name. Because of this she'll frequently be seen either holding a book or going to the library. She also has a habit of storing books she likes within herself for her to enjoy later on.

Weaknesses

• Hammerspace Overuse - If Avatia continues to suck things into her body it's very easy for her to lose them. It's not possible for her to just ask someone to help find it for her, or for her to just go inside too. Because of this, she has to be careful on how many things she sucks in and releases because she's easily capable of releasing stuff she wanted to keep stored due to having way too many things inside of her.
  
  
• Camouflage - Hiding isn't the easiest thing for someone that looks like the walking persona of space. Even when she shape-shifts she keeps her space-like appearance, and covering her body with clothes won't help because it limits what shape-shifting she can do in them (such as her gaseous form having her clothes fall off of her). Not like there's anything to censor anyways.
  
  
• Similar Human Weaknesses - Like humans, Avatia is capable of being killed through the use of weapons, even if they weren't designed in mind to kill someone of her species. Weapons like guns, knives, all that stuff can kill her. She can also be knocked out from putting too much stress on her body, find herself in need of energy (like sleeping), and can be killed by things such as natural disasters.
