Are You Afraid? Well, You Shouldn't be.

I'm so sick of the food here... Was always on Ai's mind whenever it was lunch time at school. Ever single piece of food was mostly meant for omnivores. Sure Ai herself was sister to both Omnivores and strict Carnivores, but trying to eat the food herself just made her feel sick. Even the salads in the school tended to have a weird taste in her mouth like it had piles of sugar on it, and that was without dressing. When she tried to eat the salad with what the other students used it just made it worse.

"I feel like I've been eating nothing but sugar cane every meal with this food." Ai muttered to herself as it was droned out by the rest of the school children around her. Though Ai herself was off in one of the corners eating by herself, though she had a couple of friends they didn't share the same lunch time with her which made her sad but also gave Ai time to be alone when she didn't go some where else to eat.

It was while she was prodding the 'salad' with her fork thinking of visiting Dai Niushi's Mini Minos House after school that she heard something... it sounded like someone was talking to her. Blinking Ai looked up to see a young girl, not to much younger then herself Ai supposed as she tried to remember what the girl had just said. "I'm sorry...what did you say?"

Looking over the girl Ai considered what she said and how she had previously been looking at her food. "Oh! oh, no. I've actually been here a few months now. I'm just getting a little tired of the lunch room food." She blushed a little being confronted for staring at her food.

Then the girl sat down next to her making Ai blush further. her shyness kicking in hard now. but her gaze then landed on the Rosales crest, her face drained of color. It wasn't the fact that it was of the quite infamous gang...but demons. A couple of different Yokai came to mind mainly. Ai wasn't so sure how she should be talking to someone who was around demons a lot. "Oh...ah...um....I...." She then looked down at her food and began poking it and looking occasionally out the corner of her eye at this other girl.

"I...it....it's N....nno...not that, you're um....part...of the uh...gang..." Ai moved the food around her plate more before coming up with what she wanted to say...it took a bit. "I'm.... I'm terrified of....Yokai...d...demons."

Ai cringed a little trying to look smaller, even with her diminutive size it wasn't hard. "I....I'll... Be....fine um....sorry..." appologizing for her shyness was pretty much part foot the course now even though she had been here for a couple months now. Ai also swallowed a lump in her throat that was forming. She was a bit more scared then shy but the didn't mix well together only seeming to compound more then anything.
