In her typically-seen form, Anna has very dark brown doe-like eyes and small, delicate features. Her hair is jet black and hangs in long, gentle curls. She is petite, standing only a few inches over five feet tall and weighing just over a hundred pounds. She tends to wear a lot of color, from dresses to leggings to t-shirts with whimsical designs, depending on her mood. Her hair will usually be styled with some kind of braid or kept up, due to its length. Anna can also be seen in her "siren" form, where she grows a pair of beautiful, feathery black wings from her back, just between her shoulder blades, in the similar shape of angel wings. In this form, Anna appears less "cute" and more attractive, a side-effect of the siren.
Personality Description: If Anna were a food, she would be a huge fluff of bright pink cotton candy. Her personality is sticky-sweet, which may not be for everyone, but she will attach to people whether or not they seem to like her. She is often going out of her way to do things for others. Despite this, she is rather clumsy, and often finds herself in less-than-ideal situations due to her over-trusting ways, and could be easily taken advantage of. Her fears include thunderstorms, tight spaces, and losing friends. She loves to sing and play music, and does so often.
Species Abilities: Musical Proficiency: Anna can, and will, pick up and play just about any instrument. Her favorites are the harp and the piano.
Entrancing Music: Anna's music, whether played or sung, can cause individuals to stop and become fascinated or entranced by the sound. The effects extend as far as the sound carries, though the closer the person is, the deeper the entrancement becomes. The fascination is broken whenever the music stops or the person's focus on the music is broken, though may have a tapering effect if the individual was in close proximity to the music source.
Siren Form: Anna can take her "true" form of the siren, growing black angel-shaped wings and causing her to appear more physically appealing to others. She can fly with her wings, but the transformation is a semi-painful process going either way, as the wings "sprout" from her back or withdraw back in, causing high levels of discomfort for Anna.
Powers: Emotion Projection: Anna's power allows her to project emotions onto others. This is most commonly done with touch, but it can be extended out into an aura that has a five-foot radius. Using the aura causes the effects of Anna's projections to be much weaker than if she is touching them, and it also exhausts her if she uses the aura for an extended period of time. Too-frequent use of her emotion projection can cause Anna to experience migraines or even pass out. Anna must be feeling the emotion herself - calm, sad, happy, angry, afraid, etc. - for the emotion to take effect on the other person or people.
Anna and James own magical mood bracelets that are linked to one another, changing colors depending on the mood of the other person, so they can tell how the other person is feeling whether they are together or not.
The moods/colors coordinate as follows:
Blue: Happy/Calm
Purple: In Love
Yellow: Tired
Red: Angry
Black: Sad
Pink: Playful
Grey: One or both bracelets are not being worn.
Biography: Anna was born into a large family that lived in poverty. Little to anybody's knowledge, Anna's mother was also a siren, with Anna being the only child to inherit her genes. When she was twelve, her parents and several of her siblings passed away in a hit-and-run car accident. With two younger siblings left - she had been at home taking care of them at the time - Anna found herself to be playing the role of both sister and parent at a very young age. She and her two younger brothers remained in foster care until Anna finished high school, when she suddenly received a letter from Starlight Academy. Making a difficult decision, Anna said farewell to her brothers and headed to the academy to study nursing on a full scholarship, with a dream of helping others in her heart.
Additional Information: Anna keeps in constant contact with her two human brothers back home, but would never dare to bring them to the island.
