Did they argue? He didn't think it really counted as an argument, he hadn't even said much, but there had been some tension in the air and he had sorta run off to fly and think by himself. Now he stood in front of their door, trying to think of what he'd say to her, he suspected that she'd want to lecture him on what had happened. In truth he was still very confused about what had happened with Kat.

Taking a breath, he opened the door and slipped into the dorm. "Uh...Johan, I'm home." His gold eyes immediately fell on her, his sister, they'd always been there for each other, even when war took their home, "I suppose, you probably have a lot to say." Hadrian felt sad and confused, he hadn't been prepared for all of this.

"I...," he closed his mouth, his eyes losing the bright shine they usually had, he thought he had something to say, but he found no words at first. "I'm sorry...sorry that I ran off, sorry that I made you angry." @Pallas

Johanna was busy reading the bible on her bed... a book she was well familiar with but always a text she would review when she feels that she needs guidance. As Hadrian returns, Johanna looks up and is relieved to see her prayers answered. Setting her book aside, Johanna pulls herself off the bed and walks up to her brother.

"Ah... welcome back Hadrian. Its is of great relief to see that god answered my prays and brought you back safely. As you would have guessed, we have much to discuss."

She however holds what she has to say to allow her brother the opportunity to apologize. It was clear to her that this was difficult for him as it was for her her, if not more so. Hadrian has always been one who was more in touch with his feelings and thus the one who was more reactive with their emotions in contrast with someone like herself whom always held them back. She knew that her brother just some time to resolve his inner conflicts before he would come back to her.

"Its alright Hadrian. I understand. Unprofessional and dare I say cowardly but... I understand and grasp that you must be... having conflicting feelings since coming here. Hadrian... I was never mad nor angry at you. Just... worried and concerned for you." calmly stated Johanna. She then walks up to her brother and rests her hands on his hips, looking to to his eyes that appeared to have dulled in their color somewhat.

"You have big open heart, its only natural you draw in people... but for a castle to leave its main gate open is an invitation for those who wish to plunder and hurt you where you are most vulnerable such as that tutor that was spoken of. I trusted that you to take more precaution with whom you choose to make friends with but its clear that there are forces conspiring against you to take you down a ruinous path. I don't want anything that would come to bring ill to my brother and I hope you understand you. I wish to protect you from these vile influences and I hope you come to understand that. You apology is accepted but I myself acted in manner because I wish to protect you but acted in way that drove you away so for that I must apologize well. Know that whatever offense I may have caused you... it was only out an act of love for you."

He listened quietly as she spoke, his wings twitching slightly behind him. Their lives in the outpost hadn't prepared him for this, hormones and attractions, the inner conflicts such things would naturally cause. The young angel opened his mouth to say something, then closed it again, trying to piece together what he wanted to say.

"She was the first girl....to ever show any interest in me," his cheeks flushed a bit, back home the girls either viewed him as a failure like everyone else or were to intimidated by their parents to talk to him. "No one wanted me back home," he sounded sad as he touched the cheek that Kat had kissed.

Hadrian looked to her, his eyes confused and sad, "us talking....was it so bad?" He had been nervous about it all, but also a part of him was excited, a girl showing interest in him at all, "I...I'm sorry," he looked down a bit, he didn't know what to make of it all. "I know...I'm probably failing you."

Johanna lets out a breath. It was true, in some Hadrian was always overlooked or ignored due to the social norms back home. So for him to be approached by this woman was something that he was unused to. Maybe he thought she was being sweet to him but from what she has been hearing of this woman she was not the sort of person her brother should be associating with. Surely this is the work of some devil trying to corrupt her brother. If he can't protect himself from these influences, then it was clear that she was going to have to defend against such corrupting influences.

"Its not so much talking in of itself is bad, it is the question of whom you converse with that provoked this very conversation. From what I have been warned about, you should not associate with this woman and you can't fall for every girl that gives you a kind smile or pleasant compliment. You have to show more that you show restraint... which brings up something I wanted to you about."

Johanna, then pulls back her hands stares to her brother with a serious expression on her face.

"I think its clear that the both of us are inexperienced with the customs when it comes to... dating. I looked into a class that we could both take together from an from an associate that deals with with these issues. Its... a sexual education course but one that puts the focus on more than just safe sex but also safe dating practices and bridging the gap between cross culture relationships. Today has made me realize how... much you have grown, how much we both have. So I hope that by taking this class together we both learn."

He pinched the bridge of his nose, "you were....you were ok with the girls back home ignoring me...but as soon as one here shows interest you try to stop it?" As he spoke, his aura shifted, introducing a different affect, one that made the others calm as well as drawing the truth from those affected. "I know...you didn't have a whole lot of friends back home, we've always had each other, always will, but here....no one's ashamed to be around me like back home. I'm finally making friends. I know not all will live up to your standards...but they'd still be my friends?" his voice sounded sad, his eyes matched it.

"A class?" he'd sigh a little, "I...I don't know." His wings twitched nervously a little as he looked at her, a lot of confusion going through him. "Things were simpler back home....I was...nothing...to mom and dad, to everyone," his right trembled a little, "here...I can be someone, people don't care what I was before...some even seem to like me." He'd held back a lot over the years, this wasn't even all of it. "Is..is that bad? That...I don't have to be nothing anymore...that I can be someone?"

The troubled angel looked up to her, going to say more, but stopped, and looked down again, his hands covering his face. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he took a shaky breath, "I know I'm...probably making trouble for you." He wanted to scream, let it all out, but he didn't want to take it out on her, he loved her, probably more than anything.

"Do I have to repeat myself? Hadrian... I am not trying to make an issue about you making friends...so long as your friends are of good character and in good standing. The way THIS particular girl has taken an interest in you has left not only myself concerned but others around you. I can not tolerate some unsavory characters perverting you with their bad influences." sighed Johanna as she folds her arms back, her eyes narrowing as she returns piercing eyes to Hadrian's sad gaze.

As she listened to her brother chocking on his words in his distress, her hard expression softened into that of sympathy. She always felt so pressured to succeed that it was easy for her to forget the struggles that Hadrian also had to endure. She was so used to him giving her calm, warm smiles that to see him now on the collapse of breaking hurt her. Part of her always knew that he was ostracized somewhat at home but he always seemed to have handled it so well that it rarely occurred to her how much it effected Hadrian.

"Hadrian... I truly hope you don't think that lowly of yourself. I know not many at home really appreciated you as they should have but... know that you were always someone to me." stated Johanna, giving Hadrian a single nod "And yes, you are making some things... unnecessarily difficult for me right. But that is alright, your the most important person in my life and I would fight 10,000 demons just to keep you safe."

Johanna then relaxes, just something about being around Hadrian always puts her into a calm mood... just something about him made feel safe and conformable enough to tell him just about anything. It was always something she really appreciated about her brother.

"You have always been a someone Hadrian. Whether it be somewhere in heaven or hell or somewhere in-between, understand you are always someone whom matters... always. Even if the whole world does not recognize it, at least take comfort that I at least see it in you."

With that, Johanna takes several steps forward to Hadrian and tries to wrap an arm around her brother's stomach.

A part of him wanted to say more, about back home, how they all hated him but loved her, how she was maybe blinded by her own success to see how bad it was form him, but those words were potentially hurtful and he didn't want to hurt her.

So when she hugged him, he hugged her bck, his wings appearing from his back and wrapping around them both. Perhaps they both needed a bit of comfort after everything that's happened, his confusion, her concern. "I....I don't understand a lot of things here, it's so different," he sighed, resting his cheek on the top of her head, "so I want to learn and....experience some of it, things here I'd never seen before."

He closed his eyes for a moment, they had each other, always had, always will, it was something he never wanted to change. "We've always been there for each other, despite me, you wouldn't change that, not anything?" his newly strengthened aura continued, drawing truth from her.
