Private Finished An old acquaintance

Briar watched Mukuchi curiously as he walked over and looped their arms together. It came as a surprise to the dragon, as Mukuchi wasn't usually the one to initiate contact like that. Briar couldn't help the goofy smile that overcame his face as Mukuchi lead him over and introduced him to Adryan. "A pleasure to meet you." Briar said, and offered Adryan a smile and his hand to shake.

Though, Briar did find it strange how Adryan would talk to himself. Though the man thought he was unheard, Briar could hear him clearly. He made no show of noticing, however, thinking it rude. Adryan's tone toward Mukuchi at the end did rub him the wrong way. Mukuchi did excellent work, there was no need to be so blunt about it.

He watched Adryan leave, and once the door closed and the two were alone Briar gently brushed their shoulder's together.

Mukuchi frowned at Adryan, when the man presented his thinly veiled threat. Mukuchi did not want anyone threatening himself, much less Briar. Briar could handle himself, surely, but just the thought of Adryan using his abilities on Briar made Mukuchi...uncomfortable. To put it lightly.
But still Mukuchi let out a breath when Adryan walked out. To have two people that pulled out such different sides of him in the same room was exhausting.

Once the door closed Briar brushed his shoulder against Mukuchi's, and Mukuchi looked at Briar. His expression loosened and softened immediately, and Mukuchi lifted his hands and signed
"I'm sorry"
Mukuchi brushed Briar's shoulder back in a moment of emotional vulnerability, and then pulled out his phone and typed
"Come with me upstairs? I have some things I need to explain to you"
