Aine has grown rather complex over the last few months. She used to simply be happy. Ignorant of the bad things in the world and driven to her purpose with zeal. After being tormented for so long she has grown weary and afraid. Her chipper self remains hidden behind a generalized fear of people that she struggles to overcome. The happiness is still there and can be seen from time to time, but its a side of her that only shows when she is feeling safe and comforted.
There is a lot of trauma that occurred over a short period of time, and it has left other impacts on her. She is much more aware of herself now, not just as a fairy, but also as a woman. Because of this, she is aware of what she believes other peoples intentions to be, often assuming the worst until proven otherwise. When her trust is earned, it is something truly special as she is loyal to a fault.
She struggles with finding a place and purpose in the world now. For the most part, she simply wants to belong and feel needed the way she used to when she was collecting teeth. Aine also struggles with her anger. Since everything happened she has started lashing out, becoming irritated with people and often simply fleeing rather than working out any issues she has.
It's not all bad for the little fairy though. She is still surprisingly kind despite everything. In her heart, she knows the world is not all bad and is not satisfied being bitter or afraid of everything. Over her first couple of weeks on the island, she displayed this by helping a lost child find her parents. However, when the child explained about the fairy who had helped them, Aine was nowhere to be found.

Sleep Little Children
Like most tooth Fairies Aine has the ability to put people to sleep. For her, it's as simple as telling her intended target to sleep. This gift is not without limits. She can only affect children. But to be even more specific, Children with baby teeth. The more baby teeth they have, the easier it is to put them asleep. A child with no baby teeth will not be affected at all. For a tooth fairy, the act of collecting teeth becomes more difficult the fewer teeth the child has.
Dream On
Aine has the ability to affect and alter peoples dreams. Unlike her sleeping powers, this ability can affect anyone who is already asleep, be them grown or not. She does not have the ability to make dreams to her choosing, so much as she can make them either good or bad in a general sense. Since the trauma she suffered, she is only able to give people bad dreams. This power needs direct contact to work.
Whisp
Aine is able to turn herself into a glowing orb of light. In this form, she measures about a foot in diameter and glows a soft peach color. While in this form she is much faster and far more agile in her flight, as well as able to light up darkened spaces. Unfortunately while in this form she is unable to manipulate objects around her.
Passive Abilities:
Ageless
Aine will never die of old age. Provided she takes care of herself and avoids being killed by alternative means, she can potentially live forever.
Flight
Nothing special about this. Aine has a pair of wings and is able to fly. She can reach speeds of up to 60 miles an hour (About as fast as a dragonfly). Her wings are rather fragile and can be easily damaged, but luckily they do heal incredibly quickly. Even having them torn off will not stop her for long as they will grow back over the course of a week. (Growing back is a painful process). Her flight is limited to her size, using the human size charm will prevent her from flying even though her wings grow proportionally. She also can't fly if her wings become wet.
Weaknesses:
Iron
Being a fairy leaves Aine allergic to Iron. Just touching it causes her incredible discomfort, creating a feeling similar to burning. It also dampens her magic, making her unable to put people to sleep or alter peoples dreams.

Biography:
Aine was always a tooth fairy. In truth, she can't remember a time when she wasn't. To this day she has no idea if she was born or made, or even if she had a life before she started collecting teeth. Some would think this to be a sad thing, but for Aine, it was not a big deal. She always enjoyed her work, and never really longed for anything else. For years this would be her life, slipping out in the night, finding the homes of children who had lost teeth, and exchanging the tooth for a small amount of money. She had even gone her entire life without a single child waking up, which was in no small way, quite an achievement.
Eventually, her luck would run out, and she would be discovered. It was during a collection of a little girls tooth. It had started off fine, she had slipped into the home and the child's room with no difficulty. She had even managed to grab the tooth and sneak out with no issue. It wasn't until she tried to escape the home that everything went south and she was captured by the child's older brother.
By chance, he had woken up and spotted Aine while she had been sneaking into the little girl's room. He had prepared himself and while she had attempted to escape, he had managed to catch her using a crude snare made from fishing line. She became entangled and her wings were damaged, allowing the teenage boy to capture and imprison her.
Over the course of several months, she would be tortured and made to suffer in many many ways. There was no real reason or provocation for her imprisonment and mistreatment, short of the sadistic tendencies of a single teenage boy.
After a period of time that Aine was unable to determine, she was was provided a chance of escape. During one of the nights that the teen boy was gone, His little sister overheard Aine crying. Upon investigating the source of the crying she was shocked to discover the fairy trapped in a jar, barely able to move, with the jar itself nestled in the middle of a large terrarium, with several hungry lizards inside. The girl wasted no time in freeing Aine, who in a state of panic fled without remembering to thank her rescuer.
The battered Fairy returned home, only to be cast out and exiled. Her crime, being captured. For Aine this was a rather hard blow, to be discarded for something that wasn't her fault. But such is the way of Fairies. They can be fickle creatures. With nowhere else to go, She would start a search for a new home. Most places didn't suit her well. That is until she was told about Manta Carlos.
She had overheard some scouts discussing plans to bring others back to the island and somehow managed to find the courage to approach them and ask what they meant. They had been surprised to be approached by the fairy but informed her of how she could get to the island and the procedures she would need to go through once there.
It would still take her another couple of weeks to arrive at the island and get registered as a citizen. The registration process was simple, and she had even been informed that there were others like herself living on the island. This was not a huge draw for her, as she had started to resent her own kind since her exile. Needless to say, she faked an interest just long enough to be given her ID and other paperwork before disappearing on the island.
She avoided much of the population, living in a tree in the park. She would steal food from unsuspecting park goers and generally stayed out of sight as much as possible. She has been living like this for several weeks now.
