A Trip to Space On a Saturday

Zora pulled into the parking lot of the teleportation hub in her new slate grey Koenigsegg Agera Final - it had arrived that very morning early - like 8 am - and she had been itching ever since to take it out on the road to get a feel for it. So what better excuse than driving her little baby out to the teleportation center that moved people between Manta Carlos up to the space station? In fact, the Agera was a bloody dream to drive, Zora actually found herself having to brake and slow down as she sped to the station, easily hitting top speed with little to no effort - it would be bad if she got a ticket the first day she got the car. That would be embarrassing.

Locking the car, Zora pulled on her sunglasses, looked around her and then walked over to the hub dressed down in black jeans and a t-shirt, a red leather purse slung over her shoulder. She wondered if Donny was there yet? She had never been to space before, and the idea of going up to space was rather exhilarating if she were being honest.

Zora smiled happily when she saw Donny waiting, waved to him in greeting, and then took off her sunglasses as she approached, "She is a beaut, alright..." Zora agreed excitedly when Donny mentioned her car. "Handles like a dream... I'll let you take her for a spin later if you want," Zora said with a grin, happy to let somebody else experience the Agera.

"Right. The space station," she said with a nod, glancing at Donny, focusing now her attention on what was to come. "I guess I am in your hands, I have never done this before," she admitted as she placed her sunglasses in her bag, moving stuff to the side and around - double checking that Broen had not decided to stow along. He was a sneaky one. Satisfied, he wasn't there, Zora looked at Donny again, "Just checking to see if Broen was hiding in my bag," she said a tiny smirk.

Zora caught Donny's look and just grinned, taking a hold of his arm so that he could lead her up to the space station. Once they were up there, she gazed around in awe at the place. It was like something straight out a Star Tek, Battlestar Galactica movie mixed with a movie theatre amusement park feeling. It was just very strange, surreal in a way. Zora hadn't really known what to expect but it certainly wasn't this.

Watching people walk by, curious, Zora just continued to hold on to Donny's arm. "This is crazy..." she said finally as she glanced around the station trying to get a look at everything. "Food, VR, ... I don't know where to start...What do you want to do?" Zora asked Donny.

"Fast ships? You mean, there are other spaceships here too?" Zora asked in surprise, she had not even considered the possibility before now.

"Yes, I'd love to see that," she said eagerly as she looked up at Donny. Thinking that today was full of pleasant surprises. "Can we watch the races here, or are they on a screen?" she asked, not really caring since both options sounded amazing to her actually.
