A Touch of Fae is a spa located downtown in Manta Carlos city. The spa is owned by a new residential fae, Catalina Embers.

Find us here:

The building is colored a light cream and appears slightly more old-school than modern. Atop the main room, two female fairy statues can be seen looking to opposite sides of the building. The building contains two floors and a basement, the windows of which can be seen peeking above the railing nearest the door.

When first entering the building, a person would walk a long side hallway that leads to the reception and waiting room area.

The reception area is done in shades of red and dark purple. Like most of the building, the light is dim and candles line a few of the walls. The seats are bench-like, covered in a series of colorful pillows and blankets and sectioned like cubbies. A few beanie bag chairs litter the floor.

The salon is separated from the waiting room by a decorative half wall. It is bright and contains eight comfortable chairs for the clients. Hung on the walls are pictures of fae, often beautiful half naked or fully nude women. At the end of the salon is a brown french door which segregates it from the spa itself.

Directly from the french doors are three large locker rooms, one for men, one for women, and one for unisex.

Each locker room is exactly like the next. All of them are done in creams and browns. Robes and slippers are provided in this room as well as towels, mirrors, sinks, showers, and bathrooms. The changing sections of the locker room are again cubbies, for privacy.

The second floor of the spa is where the massage rooms and scented baths are located. Each massage room is dim and done in light shades. On the ceiling are colored lights to represent stars. The stars can be blue, white, red, pink, purple, or black, depending on the room.

These rooms contain a chair to sit in and a decorative fireplace. On the fireplaces mantle sits several lightly scented candles. On the wall hanging over the fireplace is a large mirror.

The opposite corner to the fireplace and chair is where each massage room has a bathtub with a variety or scents to choose from.

Note: There are only two couples massage rooms.

The basement is closed away by a solitary brown door. Once entered, clients are standing in a long hallway. The walls are made up of smooth stone down here, to trap in the heat and the entire place is humid.

Along the walk to the end of the hallway rooms, reminiscent of long ago communal showers, line the wall. Each leads to a steam room.

Each steam room contains different colored star lights on the ceiling, effectively changing the color of the mist in the room. The spa has:
The blue room
The red room
The green room
The purple room
the pink room
the black room

Each room is a simple square space, the walls have connected stone benches with one stone bench situated in the center of the room.

At the end of the hall comes a three-way fork in the hall. Straight forward is a room containing the jacuzzi/whirlpool and the cold plunge pool.

The whirlpool is bright and done in sandstone. The jacuzzi is reached by a small flight of stairs. Along the stairs water runs down like miniature waterfalls. Candles line the back of the whirlpool and leading up the stairs.

The cold plunge pool is at the side of this small room and generally used after a steam shower. It too is made up of sandstone and possess a miniature waterfall, but it much small than the jacuzzi.

On the left and right of this fork in the hallway are two hammam baths. One for men and one for women.

These baths are large communal baths, often filled with mist. Many Japanese cultures still have these today.

Each of these baths are decorated in curved, red wall, and mesh windows. They're not very deep, instead only getting as deep as the average adults waist.
