The music boomed, the lights flashed, it was quite the party, he had just arrived the day before, just gotten moved into his house. It hadn't taken him long to find a party, one thrown by some college students. He moved through the crowd, enjoying the happy atmosphere. He needed this, a party to unwind, have some fun. He grinned brightly as he grabbed a drink and noticed a red headed girl around his age, doing the same, "gotta say, the people of Manta Carlos know how to throw a party."

He took a sip of his drink, "I'm Alexander Talbot, call me Alex," she was actually the first person his own age here the he'd gotten a chance to talk to, "I just got here," he smiled, "good to see a beautiful girl enjoying her evening."

It had been ridiculously easy for Fatima to find plenty of parties on this island, not even counting the ones she had been invited to. It seemed like the people here were a lot more open with these things. Plus the fact that it was winter break and so no-one really had much else to do. She had never even been that much of a partier before. She had been almost afraid to let her hunger rise too high around the other cult members, even though it had been inevitable.

But now, she felt like she was coming into her own. And she embraced the wild tension inside her. She still hadn't quite gotten over her shyness though or given in to certain parts of her hunger. Sometimes she enjoyed that she had become something of a tease, both in the childish way she sometimes had or the more adult way. Sometimes she wished she weren't still so darn innocent and had the confidence to just go with her feelings. So Fatima was just grabbing a drink and enjoying people's hunger vicariously for now.

And then someone came up to her. He was a pretty blond boy, thought not too excited at the moment, and the redhead smiled warmly as she checked him out. Even the act of looking at someone like that, without getting in trouble for it, was exciting. "Hello Alex. My name's Fatima. And there are certainly a lot of parties around here now. All the students off school I guess."

She blushed at the beautiful comment, although she found him quite handsome herself. Compliments still threw her off a little. "hmm When you say you just got here, do you mean the party or the island? Cause I just arrived on the island myself... Perhaps we will have classes together?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you Fatima, you have a lovely name," he had already had a bit to drink before he came, it probably wasn't noticeable though.

"Both," he said and chuckled a little, "I just finished moving in and came into the city to hunt up some fun," after everything that had happened he thought maybe partying and drinking would be a good distraction.

"Hopefully," he took a sip of his drink, "we'll probably run into each other either way," he smiled. "Wasn't too sure about coming, but I found a charming girl to talk to so it all worked out," he gave her a quick wink and took a sip of his drink.

Fatima couldn't really tell when someone was drunk, at least not until it became obvious. She felt the hunger for things, not the quenching of them. Besides parties made all the sensations somewhat meld together. She was just kind of riding the feelings of hunger and lust that these parties tended to generate. Although it was not that strong yet.

"You don't seem bad yourself," she said as she eyed him up and down, trying to figure out how to behave toward him. Parties made her somewhat bolder, but she was still a little uncertain around people until she got to know them. Especially after all that had happened in her life. Of course, most people wouldn't be able to take her on, so she wasn't completely shy.

She took a sip of her own drink and grinned. "Looking for fun, huh?" At that she twirled around, her party dress showing off her legs very nicely. "I don't know - think you'll find any fun here?" She said teasingly. She hoped this boy had a sense of humour and wasn't just a knob. She needed a bit of fun herself. It wasn't always easy to stay entertained when you literally never slept.

He smiled as she complimented him, "I thank you, but I'm just an average Lycan." He looked at her with a small grin, "I pale in comparison to you," he took another sip, "haven't been here long and I can already tell its gonna be great, I mean parties thrown by supernatural have to be great."

He grinned and laughed a bit at the girl, "well we are in a magical city, gotta be some fun here." He took a sip of his drink, "I mean, I saw a dragon flying in, if we can't find fun here I don't think there's any hope for us," he grinned and chuckled a little, Alex could be playful, and enjoyed a good laugh.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see a few mages shooting elements into the air as the party entered swull swing, "I mean where else can see that happening?"

Fatima just smiled back at the boy, or apparently, werewolf. He was a little heavy-handed with the compliments but didn't seem too annoying to at least chat with for awhile. Besides, he was fun to look at, though she wasn't sure she'd do more than look. There wasn't really any spark between them, but Fatima was fine with having friends she wasn't sleeping with.

"Oh parties thrown by the supernatural aren't much different than normal parties, but still very fun, yes. Sometimes they can have more interesting guests, though, such as yourself. Some parties though have been amazing. I went to this Christmas slash Birthday party for a greed demon and wow, just wow!"

She laughed a bit at his comment about dragons. He was very new then. She was pretty sure she'd seen like three dragons within two days of arriving, though admittedly their forms could be quite imposing. "Dragons are one thing you'll see plenty of around here! Dragons, werewolves, vampires. The most interesting people are probably the ones who don't stand out as much." She might've been teasing him a little there since he had never asked what she was. Of course, most people did assume she was human and that never bothered the young horseman.

Fatima turned to look at the mages and smirked, "That is pretty cool, but really it's not much different from firecrackers, right? Parties are fun because they're parties! Food, drinks, and dancing!" She glanced coyly at Alex, wondering if he'd take the hint and ask her to dance.
