Alma exhaled slowly. Relieved because that was far less awkward than the alternative. It still left questions, but they could be answered.

Brushing her hair out of her face, she shrugged a little. "I mean, that was why I decided to move into the dorms. But beyond that."

She felt fine, physically, and said as much. "I don't feel sick, no. Like not since I was hospitalized for that week."
In truth, she had felt great since her aura started affecting her, at least in general. She was more confident, spent less time worrying about what if and more time actually doing things. Alma had always been ambitious, but now she had laser focus to go along with it. But that wasn't really important right now.

"Why though? Have you been sick?" There was genuine worry in her voice. Despite what had happened, Aaron was her brother and if she could help it Alma didn't want to burn Bridges with him.

"My doctor says my biology is changing again, some things are speeding up," they were going to keep an eye on it, in case his system starts burning up, especially with what happened with his mind distortion. They didn't perfectly match when it came to how their hybrid biology worked, but it didn't mean she wouldn't go through a change.

"Have you been needing more blood or anything, needing to feed more often?" his need for sex had increased a lot, so perhaps her need for blood was doing something similar, "it's....I don't know, I don't really get how we work anymore, just keep an eye for any changes, maybe ask your doctor to check things."

He took a small breath, "maybe it's demon stuff overriding the vampire." It seemed chaotic, he wasn't really sure what was going to happen with the changes they've had since they went through their weird demonic puberty, "I was worried something similar might start happening to you, so I wanted you to know in case." He didn't hate being half demon, but it did worry him, the mixing of the different magics and species made things seem unstable in a way.

"No, no extra blood," Alma admitted, canting her head curiously at Aaron. What was he getting on about, exactly? Alma bit her lip before pulling out a stick of gum to chew on. Her old habit of chewing on things.

"All that's happened to me, bad stuff-wise has been that week I got hospitalized. Well, and..." she trailed off. This was why they were here, to discuss what had happened between them. But it still made her stomach do a flip to think about it. Alma wanted to ask, where do we go from here? But she couldn't manage it. Her aura was buzzing in her head, for once feeding her insecurities rather than pushing them down. Funny how that worked.
