A Deja Appearance

A rift opened in the middle of the admissions office. To be exact it was almost like an image in an image, because the rift blended in with the surroundings. A barefooted, pajama wearing (plaid pink and yellow top and bottom), loose braided Deja stepped into the office through the rift. She yawned and stretched her arms, smiling as the rift closed behind her.

"Hey all, good morning!"

She said this in a cheery, sing song voice to no one and yet everyone at the same time. She certainly wasn't expecting a response although she would welcome one if it came. With her happy profile no one who wasn't a mind reader or had some such gift would realize she had been emotionally unstable the past 2 weeks and staying in a padded iron walled room as to not harm any other students.

"I need the schedule for my Freshman classes."

This she also stated to no one in particular before having a seat on the admissions desk so she could see the other people in the room more clearly. Her eyes quickly analyzed every individual, her shoulders relaxing just the slightest as she lightly bit the inside of her bottom lip suddenly lost in thought.

Konishi thought that getting into the admissions office early would solve the problem on getting her schedule for her classes after swapping a few subjects so it wouldn't clash with her electives. There was already a bit of a wait, with a few students in the lobby, and the receptionist busy with some calls in the background, or there was some error with the copy machine. That was what caused the wait to begin with.

When Deja yawned, Konishi stifled a quiet yawn too. She did not return her cheery greeting. She did not find it weird that the girl was still in her pyjamas. Her entrance at least broke the monotony.

"You'll have to wait for it. Like everyone else in the room." She scooted over the seat a little, holding the edge of her navy dress delicately. It was a beautiful colour, like the night sky, and the fabric shone too. The collar was high, and the dress and sleeves were completed with understated ruffles and dark satin ribbons.

"Sit," she said, directing a hand to the space next to her.
