A Calm Night

Myth crawled out of his Dorm window, it was a clear, cool, wintry night and he planned on enjoying it. As he stood perched on the window's edge, gave himself push off away from the window and began to plummet toward the earth below. but as he fell two great falcon wings burst from his bare back, near the shoulders. With a strong downward thrust, and a wrenching of his wings, he stabilized himself and quickly rose toward the roof. As Myth flew higher, wearing only a pair of shorts, the wind and chill of night did not bother his bare flesh. He was unsure wether this was due to the fact that he controlled fire, or that by having wings his body had adapted to the cold airs found when flying. Either way it allowed him to enjoy the calm quiet lonely night in peace.

That was until he landed on the roof, wings flaring to stabalize him, while his bare feet landed in a thin layer of frost. Looking around Myth saw two girls sitting and talking. So much for being alone.. Myth shifted his wings, and folded them around himself. He then walked to the far end of the rook, and with a quick flap of his wings he rose to the roof of one of the towers. Shifting his wings away, he leaned against the tower watching the lake far below, as he ignored the chatting girls.

Soon though the frost began to irritate him, while the cold did not bother him, melt water running down his shorts did. Myth summoned a ball of fire to each hand, and with one he quickly melted the ice while with the other he dried himself. Myth then threw the balls of fire into the air, where they burst harmlessly. Leaning against the now dry roof, he waited for his night vision to return before letting his gaze return to the view.
