A Buggy Visit

Armis was mildly nervous about the visit, he'd never really had many friends, let alone visited any. He'd brought books and a bag of metal snacks for himself. He'd glance around as the elevator took him up, looking to the opening doors once it stopped.

He'd step through, waiting for Amber to appear. Loving this high up seemed strange, but interesting, like the enchanted towers of his books. He'd open his bag to make sure he'd brought the item he'd picked out.

The metal demon looked up as his friend appeared. "Amber," he'd say with a smile, "thank you for inviting me."

"Of course! Glad you could come. Well come on inside now." greeted Amber as she waited just outside the elevator for him. She gives him bright smile before she beckons him to follow her to the main living area of the penthouse. Once inside she looked around, then called out "Hey everyone! My friend Armis is here!"

Of course everyone was all aware of Armis expected arrival but now that he was actually here she wanted to make sure everyone at home knew. But now that he was here, now was time to figure out what it was to actually do. They discussed things like watching a movie together, playing games, or just read and talk like what they usually do.

"So what do you want to do first Armis?" asked Amber before struck with an idea "Oh you want to say hi to turtle? His name is Waddles."

Hee introduce himself to everyone, giving a bow like he usually did. The names of Amber's family members sounded familiar, he knew her mother was in charge of the DSU.

"Waddles?" he'd ask with a chuckle, "yes, I'd like to meet Waddles." The turtle sounded cute and he could tell that she was excited to show him off.

"Oh...uh...I brought you something," reaching into his bag he'd pull out a book and offer it to her. "First in a new fantasy series, thought you'd like it, the author lives on the island actually."

"Oh cool!" gushes Amber as she inspects the book, holding it up and smiling as she reads the cover. "Thanks but you didn't have too. I mean its nice and considerate of you but... uhh... having you here is alright a nice enough gift. Anyway lets not keep Waddles waiting."

After accepting the book, she beckons Armis to follow her to her room. One step inside at it looked as much as one whom knows Amber long enough to expect. Hues of deep purples and purples plaster the walls, flooring, and cushions while the white furniture seems to pop out. Her furniture consisting of desk, several book cases, a few dressers a large wardrobe, and large round bed in the center. One on of the dressers sits a large aquarium tank filled with water and submerged plants. In the corner however is an elevated platform made of a fake rock material where there is all of amenities a pet turtle could ask for.

"Okey so Waddles usually likes to sunbathe up here or hangs out in his favorite corner just over- ah there see him? Hey Waddles!" greeted Amber as she greets her turtle. The lazy reptile peeks his head out from his shell. After a second of stare the turtle swims right up to her like an excitable puppy trying to get as close to her as he can even though there is plane of glass separating the two of them.

"Dawww would you just look at him? Would you like to pet him? He is a very socialized pet so he will be okay if you want to hold him for a bit."
