Stefan nodded. Doing things too soon could get smothering. Plus it gave him time to work out plans to make sure he could be there.

"Have you been up to the space station yet? I hear there's some pretty cool stuff up there."

He hadn't made it up there himself yet, but knew enough about it to know there was a lot to do, if you could get past being in space.

She shifted a bit at that, but she didn't seem like she was really upset. More like a bit frustrated.

"I'm not supposed to use any teleporters until people can be sure that my body's stable," She explained with a small sigh. She wanted to go to space, she really did, but sometimes things get in the way.

"Then we will save that. As soon as you get the go ahead. We will hit the space station to celebrate. How about that?"

Stefan kept his voice positive and light. He didn't want Kyo getting down. Things had been going to well to start getting disappointed now. That was when an idea popped in his head and a cheesy big grin appeared on his face.

"I know. There's an arcade in town. Maybe we go there, play some games, get some tickets. You can show me up in the basketball game. Then after maybe we get some ice cream or something before it gets too cold here?"

"An arcade sounds good! We can play Time Crisis!" She was definitely excited about that idea. Even if she was absolutely awful at video games she always had fun with the cooperative ones. She'd settled on her opinion. Stefan was cool. She wasn't necessarily doubting it before this, but she was certain beyond anything about it now.

Stefan let out a bit smile as Kyo got excited about the arcade idea. Looked like he had hit the nail on the head with what to do. A small nod came out before he spoke up again.

"It's a deal. How about this time next week. I can come pick you up. We can either walk or I can see if I can borrow my girlfriends car. Whatever you want. I usually walk everywhere."

He didn't realize until it came out just how bad it sounded to borrow Zora's car. He chuckled a little at it. Wasn't like he couldn't afford one, he just genuinely liked walking where he went.

"Yeah, that sounds good to me!" She didn't seem to pay any mind to the comment about the car. She had too much else to think about before she worried about something as silly as that. She finally felt like she met someone she could be friends with again. Someone who wasn't even scared of her when she showed the other things that she could be.

"Awesome! Do you want me to walk you back anywhere?"

As smooth as Stefan was most of the time, he was still awkward when it came to specific things. This was one of those. How was he supposed to deal with this now? Just leave Kyo here? Should he let someone know?

He figured he would just leave it to Kyo. She might want him to walk her back, even if it wasn't needed. That was when he also had a thought pop in his head which was obvious by the sudden realization on his face.

"Oh! Take my number. If you need anything let me know."

She rubbed her arm awkwardly before reaching into her pocket to grab her phone and offer it to him, the contacts page already opened.

"I'm supposed to just get picked up from here, but maybe next time you can walk me home and I can show you my own hoop." She offered. She wanted to keep hanging out, but she didn't want to break from what she'd been told was planned. Honestly, she was worried she might not be able to do this again if she did.

Stefan punched in his number before handing the phone back to her. His lopsided grin came out as she explained how everything was supposed to work. The demigod was very much in the same boat of not wanting to screw this up, especially for Kyo.

"Don't hesitate to message or call me if you need anything. I mean it. I might not have any real say, but I can annoy people till they listen."

He chuckled a moment before holding out his fist in the obvious fist bump motion.

"See ya next week All-Star."

She changed forms one last time- thankfully it looked like she'd gotten over whatever was bothering her before- just to return the gesture with her massively oversized left fist.

"Yeah! Make sure you practice, I'll be able to tell." She responded with a toothy grin before she shifted back again.
