June peered out the window of the shop, looking at the passersby with an unusually sullen expression. He didn't like closing time very much. It meant he didn't have any excuse to stay out. Really, it's not like he needed one. he was an adult and he could stay out as much as he wanted.

Except he had nothing to do.

He let out a quiet sigh as he pulled down the curtains before turning to around. As he did, the first person to enter his field of vision was the their club leader, Morgan. As if she were the cue, June suddenly remembered a thought he had been pondering on for a while now.

Putting on back the smile he always had, he made his way to Morgan while she was inspecting the table. "Morgan~" he chirped, the usual hum present in his voice, "Do you have a minute?"

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home

Morgan could not get the lyrics to closing time out of her head, it had all started at her first job, which played the song on loop whenever it was time to close up shop, and now Morgan would forever have the lyrics branded into her brain as she cleaned up the maid cafe.

Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

Morgan wished she could wipe the song out of existence, maybe someone on the island had that ability.

She was just about ready to leave when June called for her. "Oh, I dont have anything planned for a bit. What is it?"

June cheered this silent "yes!" in his head when he finally got Morgan's attention. "Well, I just had this idea sort of and I wanted to run it with you," he began. For once, June has this idea that wasn't extremely selfish. Not saying that all he thought about was selfish of course but...

"It's just sort of an idea, not completely polished or anything, but I thought of it during the music festival. Maybe we could put together a band or something like that?" he asked, leaning slightly on the chair in front of him, "I actually thought it could get us more attention here in the cafe? Kinda like advertising." June had a happy grin on his face; honestly, he wanted this to happen.

"Hmm... a band..." Morgan pondered. A band could certainly get more people interested in the Maid Cafe, but it could also end up getting very expensive. As a plus she had a few vocal lessons when she was younger, though that was quiet awhile ago.

"I suppose we can set some money aside to fund something like that, and im sure people would be interested in joining, and we'll have a lot of work to do if we want to pull it off well.". She was right it was for sure going to be hard work, but she trusted June.

June hummed thoughtfully for a moment considering her reply. "Well, I do suppose that a band could get really get expensive," he mused aloud. He'd already considered that factor, but it was hard to flesh things out on your own when it's not a solo project. He was talking about a performing group, he couldn't just decide things on his own, right?

"Originally I was thinking of putting up on for school but..." he shrugged, "Well, basically I scrapped the idea since I thought I wouldn't have enough time and resource for it." That was a little bit of a lie considering he had enough time to join both the Host Club and the Maid Cafe and still balance his time; but it's not like Morgan would have poked into that. "Anyway, I figured it could be more fun if we could go in for less of a 'band' more of vocal artist, or an idol group. What do you think?"

"Idol Group?"

Morgan had heard of them before, behind the scenes they where run by shady business men who only cared about profit, but on a surface level they where really cool! An idol group on Manta Carlos could be excellent without shady business practices.

"If something that was hosted out of the Maid Club with our staff, it would run smoothly, and it could draw in more customers."
