Atlus was feeling something he had never felt before, he felt extremely weak, his stomach had been making loud noises, he wasnt sure what it was. Atlus was starving, in his universe he never had to eat, it was something people did for celebration, not out of necessity. His body felt heavy, he couldnt walk anymore. Atlus collapsed onto the forest floor.

He stared upwards to the trees, is this how it was going to end?

"You pathetic ape! This is not how we die... You must continue living until I can steal your body!"

It was Gohldark, the demon trapped in his arm... If Atlus died than Gohldark would die with him, he was alright with that.

The forest was kinder than Atlus thought.

It knew the man needed help, and among those people that could help were Hari. The plants around Atlus screamed like an ungodly cacophony in Hari's ears, and Hari, bleeding heart that he was, decided he needed to help him. He went back home and stored a large number of food and water in a backpack and traveled deep within the forest. He slid down a slope with his bare feet covered in a layer of wood so it wouldn't hurt.

When he got to the man, Hari wasted no time unloading his backpack from his shoulders and placing it near him, taking out bottled water and a sandwich. "Hey..." he said, in his gentlest voice, "hey, it's all right, I'm here now. Can you eat?"

Someone was with him, but where they really there? Or where they an illusion? Must be... it looked just like her.

"Shalherana? Here to see me off?"

He was probably hallucinating before his death, but he was fine with seeing her face one more time.

"Food?"

He tried to lift himself up, and managed to get himself into a sitting position, was that it? Was he starving? He lifted up his helmet to expose his mouth, and looked around for the food this person had brought him. Atlus shoveled the sandwich into his mouth and quickly scarfed it all down.

"Uhh thanks..."

"I... No, I'm not who you think I am."

Hari ran up to his side and supported his back, offering him his bottle of water. He got to work on unpacking the food from his bag, which was an assortment of cooked meat, vegetables and rice, smiling a bit when he was thanked. "No need to thank me. The forest was the one that alerted me of what was happening. What happened to you, exactly?"

Atlus reached under his helmet and rubbed his eyes, they where right, this stranger was not the goddess of his universe.

"Oh im sorry, you look a little like them. My name is Atlus, thanks for the food."

He was a little unsure as to why this stranger helped him, maybe they where some kind of forest helper? Either way that had a lot of food with them, and Atlus really needed that. Hed eat as much as they offered, but he couldn't do it for free.

"How can I repay you for the food? I might have some interesting stuff in my bag."

Hari made a brief, cordial bow. "Hari. I'm around here a lot. It's nice to meet you, Atlus."

He offered the mini feast to Atlus and a fork, nodding to give him a go signal that it was all right for him to eat it. He blushed, a bit, when payment was offered. "Oh... oh, I'm just here to help! I can't possibly take anything of yours. Please, I'll just be happy knowing you're recovering your strength, and perhaps gently chide you about eating."

Atlus gladly took the fork and started chowing down on the food Hari had presented to him.

"Really ive got tons of stuff with me, I should really lighten my load a little." he pulled one of his bags off of his side and rummaged through it. He took out a small bag out and offered it up to Hari. "These are some seeds from alternate universes, a little like the plants you have here but a little different.". Atlus remembered where he got them, he had saved a group of merchants from a goblin attack and they rewarded him with seeds. Seeds and information. He didnt really need them, but figured whoever this Hari person was, they might be a little interested in them.

Hari decided, well. What could be the harm of eating with this man? For a creature his size, he seemed to be very friendly. He picked up one of the apple sizes and chewed on them as he browsed through the things offered.

As annoying as plants were in general, he had to admit the Biology Major in him was curious. "Fascinating! You mentioned you were from another world? Is the world very different from our world?" He inspected the seeds. "I'd never seen these before. What do they do? Do you think they can survive with this earth's atmosphere?"
